Interesting to say the least. First off was really excited to try the new popping rocks Shirley temple but was informed that they were out of such. That was disappointing but okay, then ordered the fried shrimp and was informed that the shrimp batter was different than normal bc they were out of the normal. That kind of put a damper of the night, so I needed to regroup and figure out what else I wanted. Took me a good min to find something else and had our waitress check up on us min after min. I could tell she was annoyed that I was taking longer but that's what happens when the restaurant is out of a lot of things. The waitress (older lady with a green shirt) sat down at the bar and was chatting with another employee for a good min. I could tell it was about our table bc she was actively making eye contact with our table while talking to the employee at the bar and as soon as she noticed me staring at her she walked around to look busy. Ordered the wings and the celery was dirty. A message to wait staff- please don't rush people when they are eating or having a good time. If we need boxes, I will ask but please stop coming up min after min asking.

Food was good, I had the hand battered fish it was good and the fries where ok. A little scrambled on service. I believe they where getting an inspection at the time . All the servers were helpful and friendly they just seemed a bit flustered, it took a while for me to get my check picked up and it was picked up by the manager who was walking the inspector through at the time.. Other than that all of the employees were very friendly and checked in often.

When I was young we used to go there with youth group to spent some time chill tall to have some great time. That place was always good and it still the same like it was over 20 years ago. Come check it out. 👍

Great deals and wonderful food. Their drink specials and appetizer specials are worth it.
My daughter wanted to go to Applebee's for her graduation tonight. It was before it got busy, her mom and I ordered the riblets for 2 ppl for the all you can eat option, it took 30 min and was cold like it came from the fridge. The waitress understood and took it back. After 15 min they brought us our shrimp but still no riblets. Forgot the sauce for the shrimp. Meanwhile the 2 ppl that sat next to us, were served the same thing within 15-20 min after sitting down. When the management came, they said it was still going to be a while. We left without eating and eating at home. What a way to ruin a family night. Very disappointed with how everything was handled. Will never return to that location.

Did an order for to-go. Got overcharged. However: the cashier was so kind enough on the phone to credit me with a gift certificate instead of the full refund which I gladly accepted. Best service money can buy. food was delicious. Always went with their $9.99 deal. If you're down in Salem, OR come to this Applebee's! 5 / 5 stars!
