I'm disappointed in myself for waiting so long to try this place! The restaurant is very clean and well lit and the staff is super friendly. We tried the fish tacos, shrimp tacos and pork street tacos. All were exceptional! The salsa bar is amazing with tasty salsa, crisp pickled carrots and yummy grilled onions with whole jalepeno! And the best part... the price! It's hard to find any food places open past 9pm or affordable anymore, in Bend. I'm happy to say, " We've found our new spot!"

At 8 pm this evening I stopped in to order pork flautas, which I've previously ordered. I was first asked "carnitas?" which was confusing because the pork seemed to be chunks like chili colorado, then she said no. The young woman (with lots of elaborate make-up) flatly refused my order. I order 1-2 weekly, always tip. Never order less than $15. She's been rude to me several times before, but tonight I took my money to your competitor and am enjoying delicious tacos. She's been employed there for a few weeks, she's often rude and unfriendly. I don't care how good your food is, I won't put up with dismissive service. You've lost a regular customer because you're tolerating disrespect from a young person towards customers.

Axel's Taco's is a great family-owned taco and burrito shop! I have driven by their Lancaster location a few times, and tonight I finally turned in for a late dinner.... Wow, am I happy I did! Felicity at the counter, helped me pick a few things from the menu, and was nice to point out the fresh self-serve salsa bar! I ordered one chicken taco, one beef taco, and the Supreme burrito with carnitas for the meat. 😋 When I got home, I ate part of each Taco to test consistency, they were both very good! The Super burrito was, well, SUPER! Huge and delicious! Prices are reasonable ✅ Yes, I will be returning 👏👏

The best mexican meal in every way. I had a spicy chicken burrito and the phenomenal agua frescas, and loved the spectacular salsa bar and pickled carrots and good prices to boot. So delicious!
