Pizza was burnt, overpriced for the quality. Their margherita pizza was just regular cheese pizza, and it was soggy and gross. The service was bad. They offered to refill our water and then never came back. They didn’t offer a refill on our soft drinks or offer any dessert, and only came by a couple times before producing the check that we didn’t ask for, so we couldn’t even request anything else. Some of the members in my party said their pizzas had missing toppings, no flavor, and you could only taste the burnt crust. I don’t recommend going here and will not be a returning customer.

The rooftop is spectacular -- away from street noise, lots of greenery and trees, umbrellas give all the shade needed, a slight breeze, our server Lucas was a delight. The 4 of us will be back!!

The vibes at Basil & Board are spot on! The prices to food portion ratio is off. I can get more flavor, bigger quantities for my buck elsewhere. Fun vibes don’t trump prices these days. Sorry guys.

This is my favorite pizza of all time because of the wood fired, hand tossed crust and the toppings offered (beets, fresh dill, goat cheese . . .). I realize crusts vary widely and everyone has their preference, but this crust is a balance of thin with a lovely, thick chewy edge. The flavor is like freshly homemade bread and it just tops off the pizza experience. They used to have a pizza called Capra Rossa and it had an olive oil base, cheese, beets, red onions, fresh dill and goat cheese - it's still available by special request, but costs too much now that you have to pay for each ingredient on a build-your-own platform, but it's amazing and so unique! Best pizza ever!

Had a great time. Food was very nice. Large portions. A bit pricey but you can tell they use good ingredients. Was a little bit cooler out on the rooftop but the waitress gave us blankets. Cocktail menu could be bigger but i suppose it has more of a fancy lunch feel than dinner I'd say. Besides that I'd definitely come back to try other items. Nice casual atmosphere.
