Tons of fun choices. Everything we had was delicious so it will always be fun to come back and try something new.

Consistently a great bakery. I do appreciate the freshness and selection. My favorite is the apple fritters

Very disappointed in the quality of my donut cake. I picked it up this morning and it tastes day old. Hardened bottom donut. It’s a unique idea and I bought one before but not this isn’t $30 quality.

The softest donuts I’ve had in Salem! The icing is great and isn’t overpowered with sugar. Staff were friendly and prices were reasonable. I ordered their S’mores, M&M and bearscat donuts and they were amazing! If you haven’t had these donuts yet, you definitely should! 10/10 would recommend lol

Love it there so much! Donuts are delicious. The bread and the icing just balance each other out. And they are so nice there

Finally tried this place today after seeing great reviews on Salem Eats FB page. I must say I am glad I made the time. Got 3 donuts for $5.50 which in my opinion is a good price in this day and age. Donuts were fluffy and chewy and delicious. Will be stopping by again

There has definitely been a change in ownership/management. The donuts weren't horrible but as soon as I looked in the case the donuts looked less appealing or appetizing. The icings weren't glossy like donut icing usually is and the icing was clumpy looking, dry looking and dull. At this point I was committed and thought I'd still give them a try. I brought them back to work with me, tried one and was not impressed at all. Donuts don't last long at the office I work in and even co-workers weren't impressed and barely touched them. I ended up throwing them away at the end of the day. The fryer oil definitely needed changed and some of the donuts seemed like they may be a day old. The texture was like that of day old donuts. I liked the original owners and product way better and will likely not be going back.

Great tasting donuts. The prices are great. They also carry the giant donuts for parties and events. Staff is friendly. Lots of selections to choose from.My kids got a hold of them before I can snap a full picture of a dozen. One of their happy employees sent me this picture to post. They love where they work and the love of the art reflects it.

I forgot to post this on here. This was a few weeks ago.I was walking around Downtown Salem and saw this location Bearscat Bakery. I first thought it was a bakery. The donuts drew my attention. I decided to purchase a dozen donuts. The flavor of these donuts where amazing you can tell the quality of this product. My favorite has to be the bearscat donut named after the company. This donut is not to sweet but enough to indulge your senses. From here on out this is the location I will be going for to get my donuts. #foodie #dessertlover

Heard lots of good reviews for this place so I tried it out this weekend. Around noon-ish I would say. The guy was terrific service-wise. But the donuts themselves were very disappointing. I bought a dozen ($28) and for that price, I expected so much more. The French crueller was dry and soggy at the same time and tasted like...I don't even know how to describe it. Just wasn't good. The sugared donut was fine. Soft to bite into and the dough wasn't dry so I enjoyed that with my coffee. The other donuts I had were ok, but when the first 2 you eat are so disappointing, it just kind of ruins the rest of the experience.

Stopped in about an hour before closing and was pleased to see they still had a full selection. The donuts were fantastic and very reasonably priced! We will be back for sure.

I have heard so many good things about this donut shop, so I decided to give it a try today, and I am quite disappointed to be honest. The frosting on the donuts tasted like Pillsbury frosting out of a jar, it was overly sweet, and just not enjoyable.

Simply made classic doughnuts with a few of the new-gen varieties like cherry pie and pb&j. Both yeast and cake varieties were a bit too dense, and the old fashioned in particular might have been fried at too high of a temperature, with the outside skin overcooked and lacking the desired slight-chewiness. Could probably improve, and I wish them luck, but given I saw nobody else go there in my 10 minute visit around coffee-break-time on a Monday, I fear the worst.
