2nd day at the Portland sportsman show and I've been wanting to try your sauce. First day, no one to be found at the booth both times I walked around. That was over 4 hours yesterday. Day 2 (today) walked up to the table again with someone there. He was helping 1 person. Stood for about 3 to 5 minutes as they just talked about nothing. I did not get a hello to I'll be right with you. As someone who is in the bbq community this is an embarrassment. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. James gang bbq, warpig, ang sgt. Hart's had 3 different sets of people or talked to me. You do not know who I am or what I do or anyone else that walks by. If you can't take care of the customers in front of you and just relying on your name because of an award you've won will fail in time. I'm not going to bash your name in my community, but I also no longer have to recommend you to folks online, my website, social media, locally, or word of mouth. In fact I will recommend not buying your product at all to everyone I talk to. To be fair this is not the only 2 times I've come across this with this company and events te they are apart of. This is my 3rd event that I've had a bad to no experience with the owners or they're employees. Quit focusing on your sauce and awards if you can't take care of the customers in front of you...I was ready to buy your 2 of your boxes today because of my ambassador who we share. They recommended you highly and wanted to give you another chance after the other previous interactions were in 2018 and 2019. On top of owning a grilling community, I own an events company in the PNW. I can care less to book you guys no matter if you paid double for booth spaces. I even have photos I can post of an empty booth to the man working for you sitting on his phone not looking up or greeting people. You guys have put a sour taste in my mouth enough for me to write a review from the parking lot of the show. I came to literally meet the 4 bbq related to what i do and walked away with no new products from you only. I spent $50 or more with the others companies and nothing with you. Do better if you think you're the best, you're not at all. I will be showing other event planners and coordinators this behavior of not taking care of the one or ones in front of you. Sitting on your phone shows the customer you do not care about them and gives the event a bad name. I expected better from a local Oregon company I wanted to try and support. Now I just want to yell don't buy a thing...they do not care about the ones in front of them. You know the people who made you popular in the first place. Laziness is toxic.
