I have driven past this place a hundred times over the years, and finally stopped by on a Sunday morning.

For drinks we ordered a peach smoothie, a black coffee, and a latte. Two bagel breakfast sandwiches and a scone for food. All of that was $39.

It’s a quaint little bistro just outside of downtown. Not a lot of seating or parking, but there is a drive thru option!

Service was pretty unremarkable-nothing positive of negative to say. With that being said, our food and drink came out pretty quick (under 10 min).

Would definitely come back. I like supporting local and the food and drink prices were pretty reasonable.

Just moved to Salem a few months ago, this place is right by our apartment and we love it! Hannah is such a sweetheart! Never tried any food options, but the coffee and atmosphere is great!

Love this place it's my daily coffee spot

It's really expensive for what you get. The server didn't know the menu. The daily special soup wasn't updated, and the server didn't know what soup they had. It was 30 dollars for two half sandwiches with a cup of potato salad and chips plus a drink. We had a long wait time for our food. The server was friendly. It's not on my list to try again.

I enjoy the flavor of the coffee and frequent this business. However, if you are gluten allergic DO NOT eat here. I ordered a gluten fee bagel…it was cut with the knife all bagels are cut with, put through a common toaster and prepared with other glutenous utensils. Gluten allergy (wheat allergy) is a serious health risk. Be careful.

High Quality food, and we'd much rather support you than corp chains!

I went in to try this place I drive by daily on my way to work. I have a food allergy and the girl behind the counter didn't know if items on their menu had dairy. I assume a manager or owner came out. When she was asked she said she didn't know because the food is outsourced. They don't cook it there. There was another customer behind me so I didn't want to hold up the line. I was really hungry and this happens a lot. My options are always limited but that is my issue. I realize that. I asked for a bagel any bagel as a lot are dairy free. The lady looked really bothered reached under the counter and handed me a bag of bagels. She told me to look at the ingredients myself. At that point I just wanted to leave. I said nevermind and thanks anyway. The young gal felt bad and told me to have a nice day. I wished her the same. The other woman I would just like you to know that I realize food allergies can be a pain. I asked politely. I wanted to try your place of business. I was looking forward to a treat. Instead my morning was ruined by your treatment.

THIS place is a gem, a diamond in the rough. With all the places there are these days to grab a quick cup of coffee and a snack or even a meal. When you step in to Mama's your transported for a moment to your grandma's or your mom's house where tge food is delicious and you can count on a smile, the smells are neatly as good as the food. The desert is delicious you taste tge home cooked. It's a rare treat, on busy stressful days. Stop inside or go though tge drive up windoiw, and transport to homecooked slower pace, when life was easy and a hot meal and a smile was the next best thing to heaven. You won't regret the stop. Try a toasted cheese bagel and a large flavored Mocha. Your mouth will sing. Enjoy

I came in on the 3rd of September and I needed a quick sandwich for my husband who was having surgery. I have never been there before but the young lady who helped me was courteous and very helpful. She was alone and she handled an awkward situation very well. My husband loved the sandwich! We will be back!

The Panini (photos) was just a bit of meat and cheese on a roll with a thin slice of lettuce and thin slice of tomato. It took 30 minutes to make. I would rate this as equivalent to nursing home food.

Tried to order a quad shot and was told it'd be $5. Asked if I'd heard right, then said I'd pass and thank you, the young lady behind the counter who began unwell in the personality department became snide in her sarcastic "okay, thank you!' overly loud response. I'll definitely not be returning.

The coffee and breakfast bagel sandwich are amazing! We usually stop by before work during the week, but we once visited on a Saturday and it was bustling with customers. The food is so good—we definitely recommend it!
