Easily the best tamales we have had! We ordered the tamale plate in both chicken and pork. Rice and beans were great, the green salsa was amazing! Very glad I bought the large. The woman working was extremely nice. This was our first time ordering from here and I’m so mad we waited so long! A new favorite!

Amazing food

The tamales are great - the filling and the dough are equally flavorful and delicious. The real star here is the beans and rice though - I don’t know what their secret is but I’ve never had rice this good. Do yourself a favor and get a large size - portions are generous and both reheat well for several days. The horchata is also delicious - sweet and strong - and the people who work here are very friendly.

I moved to Oregon last year, and one of the most difficult things about leaving California was easy access to my Guatemalan panderìas for pan dulce and tamales. Being Chapina I love my traditional foods. I never thought I'd find this gem in Salem!! Such a sweet and kind woman who cooks this AMAZING food, and truly some of the best Guatemalan tamales I've ever had. So delicious! This is my new spot!!

First time trying this place and I'd have to say these r the best we've tried so far I've never had tamales so moist not crumbly at all very flavorful can't wait to try the ones in banana leaves ? we will definitely be back
