Fantastic! Food portions were huge. We ordered the half order and it still fed two (not so terribly hungry) people. We went with a group of people and tried a variety of different things. Everything was delicious. The staff were friendly and quick. What a fun place to go.

We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was! We mainly wanted to come check this place out because of the old-school atmosphere, and that didn't disappoint at all. The service was always on point, which made for an all-around exceptional first visit. We highly recommend visiting if you haven't already.

Everyday, breakfast to lunch, Stephanie in the morning offers the right kinda welcome in service.. its one of our favorite stops along hwy 22 west.

Thursday morning, 17 Porsches started and finished at Cafe 22 in West Salem. No one had Breakfast, but I know the breakfast is one of the best in Salem, Oregon. We arrived as a group around 1 pm after completing a 4 leg 107 mile loop over mostly 2 lane roads, for lunch. Clyde and Stephanie and the staff were great hosts here is what some of the group said.
FH .....food was good and our server pulled it off without any help. I would definitely go back if out that way. It was also nice that they truly looked happy to have us there, unlike some recent places that could not have handled our group descending on them. Thumbs up from me!
TK I’d say excellent. They appeared a bit short staff and meals took a bit longer but was worth the wait. I’d go back there!
JG I'm with TK. The strawberry shortcake was home cooking good, with freshly made ice cream.
BE I intend to return. I thought that my Pastrami sandwich was one of the best I have had and the strawberry Shortcake was delicious.

This little off the highway diner is pretty good. Is right next to a fruit stand too. Go have a cup of coffee. Have a hamburger, then go over and buy a fruits and vegetables.
