While I first heard about Cafe Shine because they open their doors and provide a free meal for the homeless once a month, I was pleased to know that they serve EVERYONE during their regular business hours. Such a nice relaxing atmosphere inside. Easy handicapped access, and a better place to catch a meal than the food court in the mall. Such a clean, caring and classy little Cafe that is easily overlooked if you're not aware of their peaceful dining experience. Quick service, great food, affordable, and nestled right in the middle of the downtown shopping experience. The fact that they also give back to the community is just the icing on the cake for this little jewel in downtown Salem.

Found this place wonderful with a great vibe and great people. Volunteers help run this location complete with a prayer room and stage for performances. It caught our eye one morning as we were waiting for a meeting and as we were walking that way their staff offered a free sample of a white Chocolate lavender latte! It was delicious and only made us eager to give them our business. We ended up ordering a panini and two large lattes. We spoke to the manager and were interested I. Volunteering. Great space to relax, work, host an event, pray, and just enjoy the day at! We will be back!

Cafe Shine makes the best darn white mocha breve out there! Add a little whip, and you'll think you died and went to Heaven. The baristas are always pleasant and friendly. The atmosphere is fabulous for studying, meeting with friends, or meeting for business!

What an amazing space. I had no idea there was a huge prayer room in the back, and it's open 24/7. The coffee is good, the seats are comfy, and the staff is super nice. I came in after having a horrible week and Ruth showered me in kindness and compassion. Such a special lady. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet space to gather their thoughts.

Hands down the best coffee shop in Salem! The staff goes above and beyond to make everyone feel loved and welcomed. It's the perfect study date spot right in the heart of downtown! 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone. The coffee was incredible too
