Caffe Capri at the Reed

The staff at Capri Café exceeded my expectations and the Holiday Drink “The Grinch” was sensational. I strongly recommend it when visiting Salem.

Longer than usual wait today.
Ordered 2 lattes both were luke warm,
They gave us the long bread, twist, and then. When we had the correct one, it was also not hot over, all disappointed

If I come in the evening, the drinks are great. I went in the morning and the boy made me an iced tea by pouring the tiny brewed tea over a cup filled with ice water (basically tinted water was what he made). He said "that's how we make our iced tea." I asked for a decaf iced americano instead and it tasted nothing like the same drink I ordered in the evening. He needs a lot more training.

I ordered a seasonal pumpkin latte per Gavin’s recommendation. Absolutely delicious with beautiful pumpkin art on top. Wonderful, friendly service with a great location. Favorite coffee in

The absolute best Iced Mocha I've ever had. And I've been having speciality coffee for 15 years and I buy a lot. I was going for a 2nd, but by the time I was going to swing back by...the Building was about to close. That just says how much the coffee is GOOD.
No doubt I'll be back. I'm a big Fan for a first time customer:)

I’ve recently stopped going to Starbucks and I found this place over the summer since I work down the road. Some of the best coffee and speciality drinks!! All the baristas have an amazing attitude and all of them are so sweet every time I stop in. This has quickly become my go to!!! Thank you guys for being so awesome.

This is a great franchise-free coffee shop. The ambiance is nice and the coffee is superb. I had a mocha frappe today that was the best I’ve ever had.

I walked in this morning and was in a rush there was a customer that was talking forever to the barista then I ordered and the girl who made my coffee just handed me to coffee didn’t even acknowledge me and to top it off she have me a broken cup which literally spill all over my white sweatshirt. Definitely not happy about my visit today.

As much as I love this place I'm fed up with their business hours, they change their hours so frequently that its scary to come to be turned back, because they closed early. Before hrs where until 7pm then 6pm. Ok I got it... then they starting closing at 4 Monday to Friday and 5 on Saturdays. Today Sunday I came, I arrive at 3:40 pm she said "I'm close, my hot brew is close but I can make a blended drink" hold on when you close a business if close at 4 you start cleaning machines after you close not cleaning machines 30 minutes before your closing time to leave right at 4! What if someone comes like me wanting a hot drink? it's open 7-4 aren't you??? I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one annoyed with the unpredictability of this business and its sad that regardless of how great their coffee is there are tones more coffee shops that are serious about running their business.

This has become on of my favorite places for coffee and meetings in Salem. The staff are always extremely pleasant, the beautiful lever style espresso machine is a treat, and the ambiance of the Reed is AMAZING!
