We live in Riverbend apartment. Our neighbor, Checkpoint 221, drives us nuts with their cleaning parking lot and space around pavilion on early morning Sunday using leaf blower. They usually start do it around 7.30 a.m. It’s rude, and annoying!

Got a lamb gyro at Gyroloupus (sp?). Delicious. The facility is nice and clean. All the food trucks appear to be well-kept. Great place to go if you want multiple cuisine options all in the same place.

Got the Thai food. I'm Sorry I can't remember the name of the truck but the food was great!. Got cashew chicken, Xtra spicy. The staff in the building were nice and fun. I'm a cane user and the bartender helped me walk my partners drink out to the table bc I only have one hand free. The restroom was very clean and the whole facility is handicapped friendly. Good alcohol selection.The road noise was fine but I imagine it would be way to much exhaust in the slightest traffic backup so the East side seating area may not be for you.

What a great place to make some memories with your family or that special someone. They have beer on tap, wine, mixed drinks, and soda for the kids. There's a photo booth for capturing your special moments. Plus on certain nights they have Bingo, and other games that everyone can join in on. Trevor and Janel are your bartenders who will mix your cocktails with perfection and a smile. Of course, there are plenty of choices for dinner or lunch from the food trucks. Come by and visit Check Point 221, you won't be disappointed, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

When did mediocre food from a food truck cost more than going to a sit down restaurant with good food? No wonder this place is never busy it just doesn’t make financial sense. I highly recommend reducing the prices to make them fit the food and what you get for it.

I've visited checkpoint 221 multiple times, and even before they opened their building with the bar + indoor seating, it was still a great spot to visit. There are lots of great options, all food preferences as well as great vegetarian and even vegan options! Gardenia Thai has come in clutch a few times for a vegan friend of mine.Parking is usually not an issue, lots of space.

So glad we tried the new food carts in West Salem. First time around not so great! Today my family and I tried the quesadilla Wizard, chicken shack, the golden spice of India plus desert from sweet Seoul. We loved it all. Would totally recommend.
