Decent Chinese food. I ordered hot & sour soup, lo mein, and orange chicken. Flavors were neutral for everything, so this restaurant would be great for someone who has a particular palette for spices. Hot & sour soup is a must for me when I go to a Chinese restaurant, this soup was pretty heavy on the sesame oil and I was unsure about it. Not sure I’ll be back due to preference, but it’s nothing against the restaurant. Neutral rating for the neutral food.

First time here. Great experience. Food was fresh and delicious. The service was attentive and the prices were fair. I really enjoyed the Kung Pao chicken. Plenty of fresh veggies, not just onions and celery like you get at some places. Looking forward to a return trip to try something different.

We stopped here for Chinese food while on a road trip, and the food was surprisingly good. We ordered the Mongolian beef and the garlic chicken, and both dishes tasted great. The Mongolian beef was very tender and flavorful. Each dish comes with a side of rice, which makes it a really good value.

We spent around $35 for two people, the portions were generous, and the rice was cooked really well. Overall, it was a very satisfying stop during our trip.

Their signature soup is bad. It's generally unpleasant. I'm sure some of their sauces are alright. But you will get low quality food here.

A LOT of their menu can be made vegan with tofu as the option. Make sure to ask them to not use their tempura batter on the tofu as it's not vegan. The appetizers are not vegan except for the lettuce rolls if you get it with tofu, but the veggies are fresh and this is a mainstay when I'm in Salem. I go here at least once a week when Im in the area.

We had the spicy noodle soup and Lanzhou beef noodle soup and they were both delicious. This place is a good mix of authentic Chinese food and American Chinese food, we’ll be back!

A BIG negative this time: My family and I rarely go out to eat. When we do, we usually stick to a place we know is good so we don’t waste our money. Chopstick Brothers has always been one of our local favorites. This evening’s experience upset all four of us. The server— we know his name, but I’m not sure if I should post it here— was temperamental and rude, dropped our plates and silverware hard on the table, ran the loud vacuum beside us (and the only other two tables that were occupied in the building), and otherwise didn’t engage in a decent way at all, let alone polite or friendly. We ordered green tea but he never delivered it. The other two tables had to grab their own to-go boxes and had to pay at the counter, and the rude server mysteriously disappeared when it was time to pay. The food was as great as always, but usually the service is much better. Will not be returning.

Food is not as good as it was a few months ago. Food presented was as it came from the frozen food section of a supermarket packed in cardboard The sauce tasted like ketchup mixed with hot sauce 🤨

I ordered lunch and everything was generally positive. I asked for very little sauce and oil, and what I got was perfect.

Crab rangoons were tasty. The hot and sour soup was unique. It almost tasted like they used the broth from Bun Bo Hue. The massive amount of rice dwarfed the lunch portion. It was rice and lots of egg bits. Not really fried, and no little pleasant pieces of onion, carrots or celery. However, the lunch was totally worth it.

I’m always cautious when it comes to ordering Chinese in Salem. I still haven’t found the right spot.
I decided to try out Chopstick Brothers since the place looks clean.

I ordered the beef chow mein which was $17. I felt that it was a bit pricey but I assumed it would be a large amount.

When I opened the container it was a good amount of chow mein but the quality of the noodles were so cheap. They were very thin and the flavor was off. It grossed me out after a few bites. I won’t ever go here again.
