Went to this place at 530 and could not get a seat. Told our party of four it would be an hour wait. The place was empty. If you don’t open at five don’t say so. In any event it is still good. I have been there a few time since and they have a new reservation system that works well. Changed review.
We arrived and were seated right away. Atmosphere is pleasant but quite loud. Food was very good with the exception of a Penne pasta. The artichokes in it were very tough and a lot of fibrous leaves. The server even commented on it. Seemed under staffed, we had to ask for another round of drinks and more water. No one checked on us throughout the meal. For premium prices I expect better service. It took along time to get our food. We were there almost 2 1/2 hours. Overall it was...
We love the pizza and Caesar salad at Cristo’s. It has become our Friday night pizza night spot since moving to Salem. The restaurant is quite loud and we have found that if we request the lounge is a little more bearable. Sometimes the service can be slow, depending on your server. Larger groups make it more difficult so we find it’s better to go with a smaller party.
