First time going here. Drinks were very good and strong. We had Cadillac margaritas and a Pina Collada. Prices were average for them. The food was good. Had a 2 combo plate and chili Verde that I get any time I go to a mexican restaurant. It was typical of this dish. Someone had shrimp tacos, liked them. For 26 dollars, I think it was way too expensive for 3 tacos and a few cheap shrimp. Salsa and chips were typical, definitely not spicy.

It pains me to give 3 stars for this place. Every time we come to Salem, we eat here. The food is delicious and the location is convenient to the string of hotels on Hawthorne. Let me reiterate that the food is delicious. We’ve been here 3 times in 18 months. Each time we come, the place is mostly empty. This has been on various nights of the week. The drinks are good. The food is great. The service is terrible. Out of all three times, we have never had a great experience with the server. Two out of the three times, we waited a few minutes for someone to even acknowledge that we were there in spite of it being slow. Once we were seated, our drinks were brought out fairly quickly. So were the chips and salsa. So did our food. But then nobody came around. For a long time. All three times. The last time, we got up to go find someone so we could get our check. If you have some time on your hands, then I strongly encourage you to go to this restaurant because the food is delicious. But be prepared to wait when it comes to customer service and don’t expect to be greeted warmly or with any overt hospitality or urgency. It’s clear to me that this place is mostly empty every time we go because of customer service. If that’s not important to you, head over and enjoy some delicious food.

Wish i could give them a 0. Really rude, when told wrong orders was given the lady said you have to place a new order. Quezadilla was not fully cooked, caldo order was old . Dont go here.
