Cindy Lou's BBQ & Catering

Excellent offering of BBQ. I chose the sliced brisket with sides of mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The brisket was smoked to perfection, so tender a knife not needed! The sides are homemade and were very good! The service was great too. This is a food truck but they have a small section to sit and eat if you want to watch traffic/people while indulging.

Best BBQ in town. I've been to most food joints here in independence and Cindy Lou's definitely takes the cake. Definitely recommend trying

I drive a black sports car. I demand only the best bbq. This place has it. This little cart is a gem. Take the time to get out there. You wont be disappointed.

Homemade. That's the name of the game here. Everything has a unique flavor. The sauces are definitely a one-of-kind flavor. The regular sauce is tangy and balanced. The spicy sauce has just enough heat to call it spicy, but not too much for those that are comfortable with some heat.

Large portions make it a good value.

The side choices are really special. You can tell these are made by hand. Mac and Cheese is dense and cheese is high quality. But the side that steals the show is the jalapeno rice. This is a family special - you wont find this rice anywhere else. I bought a tub!

Ribs Plate - delicious meat that falls off the bone. Perfectly cooked

Brisket plate - cooked perfectly and melts in your mouth. Breaks apart the way brisket is supposed to.

Pulled pork sandwich - you get a choice of bread. Pork is juicy and soft. You can get the sauce on the side and add as much as you prefer.

Just live a little and check them out!

Great customer service. The gentleman in the truck went aboard beyond. It was spendy, though. Unfortunately, all takeout is expensive these days, but the quality and potions were good. Downside is it's not in Salem.

I wasn't expecting this to be a food truck. But Damn this is some good bbq. The guys who served us and took our order were super helpful. We had 5 people to feed, and they gave us the best advice to get the best bang for our buck. We tried a little of everything except the pulled pork, and it was all delicious. We come up from California to visit the kids and grand baby a few time a year. We will definitely eat here again.

You guys. I had the best pulled pork and slaw sandwich here. Every bite we just yelled yummy!!!!!! I was impressed for sure. I find there isn't a lot of really good quick food these days but this place was so dang good.

Amazing. I’m a vegetarian and LOVE the Mac daddy sandwich, hold the meat, Add coleslaw and drench in bbq sauce. It is seriously amazing. Always jalapeno rice for a side. My kids love the ribs. Great customer service. Definitely recommend 🤎

this place is sooo good! just went there for the first time today because i love mac and cheese and there’s barely anywhere to go in town for it. while the side being 6$ i thought it looked pretty small, but nevertheless who cares it was sooo good! i definitely recommend to support this business! service was also very quick and kind.

This place is awesome! Cindy Lou's makes it easy to support a local business. We tried their pulled pork and brisket and we couldn't get enough of either. Not to mention the fact that the owners/operators are so incredibly kind. Will definitely be frequent regulars!
