Service is also top-notch when the staff is around.One visit, I had to go to "smokers' corner" on the porch to order another drink, Another visit, I had to go and ask for a bill because we had been done for a while. On our last visit, we were going to order a 2nd Bloody Mary, but I didn't want to go out to the smoke cloud and get a staff member. By the time we were done eating, she came in when a group of four came in, and we were able to get and pay our bill. The group of four were given menus and waters, and they waited to order. They were looking around for someone to take an order, and I pointed to the porch. One of them went out and got someone, and when she came to the table, they told the staff member that something had come up and they needed to leave. It is definitely a repeating pattern.That said, the food really is great with generous portions and the staff is friendly and nice.Our visits were two Sundays and a Monday.

Came for karaoke. Only 1 person had signed up when I went for the first time and 2 others went after me before I signed up for a second one. Me and my friend gave our slips at the same time and 18 people went in between her and I which made no sense. I asked the dj if he lost my slip and he said I was in line so I waited and waited and then when I asked him why me and my friend didn’t go back to back when we turned our slips in sg the same time he just said “there’s 6 people ahead of you” and when I said yes but why? I’ve been waiting for over an hour? He just said “yeah there’s just allot of people in line” and again I said “then why did my friend who turned our slips in together go 13 people ago?” And all he said was “you’re in line” like??? No straight answer and I’ve now been here more than an hour and a half past when I wanted to leave but I promised my friend I’d sing if she sang. LAME KARAOKE GUY

I'm from California, and I needed a place to unwind, a friend told me about corner pocket, overall it was really clean, staff was polite and attentive, Their drinks were pretty good and atmosphere was fun and entertaining because of karaoke! I also tried their "build your own burger" which was on point! I definitely recommend this spot if your in salem looking for a place to chill and make friends!!Parking: Parking lot is pretty big so no worries about trying to find parking!

We have been going to Corner Pocket about twice a week. The service is excellent. We have enjoyed Taco Tuesday and quesadillas with Tater Tot's. Friday night I had the steak, baked potato and green beans with balsamic & bacon for $13. The homemade soups & salads are really good.

Not surprised see how this place has continued to put a horrible vibe out in Salem.Patrons are disrespectful & hostile.Bartenders don’t even greet you & have a horrible attitude.I’ve been here now twice.this establishment and how it treats people is astounding.There’s so many better places to go to rather than feel immediately unwelcome.
