Cozzie's NY Deli

I’m in search of a fantastic Reuben. Didn’t find it here. My sandwich looked like it had been sat on. Seriously I should have taken a picture of it. Even my lunch companion commented on it. NO pickle wedge. Says on the menu that it is served with one. Very skimpy on the Russian dressing too couldn’t even tell it was on there. The flavor was ok, hence the 3 stars rather than 2, but not the best.
My search continues….

THE BEST

I've been hearing lots of good things about this deli and checked it out for myself. I had the number 3 on sour dough. Can't say enough good things about how fresh everything was and the bread was so soft.
I also had the tomato basil soup, gah! Soooo good!
If you get a chance, try them out. I gave a 4 star on atmosphere just because they needed more seating, but that's it.
Oh and ladies, every young man there was handsome and polite 🥰
Oh, I almost forgot the pickle! Best tasting pickle ice had in a long time!

Love this spot. Wish I could substitute green peppers for sweet peppers on the delicious cheesesteak, but other that, I have never had a complaint. Every time I have worked in the Salem industrial area I recommend Cozzies to the crew & they’ve always loved it.

First time at Cozzie's and I'll definitely be back. Service was fast and everyone working was so polite! Get something that has chicken cutlets and order the Mac and cheese. You'll thank me later.

One of my favorite lunch places in Salem. Every time I travel here it's on my list of places to eat lunch. The sandwiches are fantastic, service is excellent, and you're in and out quickly.
Hefty portions at a reasonable price.
Would suggest it to anyone local or passive g though.

We got a sandwich and their special of the day bacon Mac & cheese. The pastrami sandwich was generously meaty and tasty. He bacon mac and cheese also a generous portion but had a strange sharp taste I guess that I found slightly unpleasant it wasn't lmy favorite.

Great little deli.
And they have really good sandwiches, highly. Recommend, it's locally owned and operated.
The owner's give back to the community quite well.
