A beautiful place, with great wine.
Stopped by for tasting and it was really welcoming, relaxing, informative and of course the wine was great. Excited to visit on a good weather day so we can hang out on the covered porch area which looked very nice. Would recommend!
Beautiful varieties of Pinot Noir and one of the best Chardonnay I’ve ever tasted. But, the best of the best was Brian! He took us up to the vineyards to meet the sheep and the pigs that do so much wonderful work to keep this place in tip top shape. Thank you Brian, your kindness was just what we needed.
Really cozy place! And lovely service.
I am happy to see Cristom has a 4.7 rating. Not everyone or thing is perfect, but I rate Cristom a 5.0. We have toured Willamette 3 times now, attempting to taste and discover the greatness from all 11 AVA regions.
Our last visit was August 2025, and of the 9 wineries we visited this go around, plus several tasting rooms, Cristom knocked it out of the park again. For our party of 8, they rolled out the red carpet, had a beautiful table set-up with charcuterie and olives to accompany our Blanc de Blanc, Chardonay's (a few goodies from library) and of course a thorough tasting of their excellent Pinot Noirs.
I can not say enough about the staff we had the opportunity to meet. Brian, their new Sales Mgr, set the bar high as he graciously took me on a tour in his jeep of the vineyards and new plantings. Angelica, our host, was very knowledgeable and respectful, and we had a wonderful time learning more than we did before arriving. Unfortunately we had 2 more local tastings and had to leave prematurely as I could have stayed another 1-2 hours (or all day - lol).
Some of our guests deal with digestive issues with wines, namely heartburn or acid reflux. They were amazed at how soft and gentle the wines were. So much that they have become members. So if this issue affects you, give it a go.
I will end with this. The Eola-Amity Hills AVA selection of Chardonnays is gaining on traditional French White Burgundies and will only be buying OR or French Chards. No longer desire the heavy oak and butter reminiscent of that other area to the south. IMO.
Hope this helps some of you decide on your next tasting. Cheers.
The 350ml ‘Mt. Jefferson Cuvée’ Pinot Noir hit the spot when we arrived back at our VRBO in Carlton. Grab a glass and take a bottle or half with you. Great view, knowledgeable staff, and a great start to your afternoon.
Brian is the best - loved the winery experience - we toured several wineries and this was BY FAR the best!
Stopped by for a tasting with Brian last week and everything was amazing. The wine was beautiful, the views stunning, and Brian was super friendly and knowledgable.
5 stars, 10/10, two thumbs up, this place was amazing!
Great wine, excellent tasting, phenomenal service/education (Angelica was excellent!), great views...the whole experience was peak awesomeness and ensured our return. Thank you!!!
Beautiful wines offered in a tranquil setting. We enjoyed both whites and reds and chatted with Brian. He was warm, welcoming, and took the time to explain all the wines we tasted.

Thank you to Angelica for making my birthday wine experience extra special. This is a very beautiful property with absolutely divine wine. My only regret is that I only bought one bottle!
After visiting the more corporate sites in the Valley, we really enjoyed the relaxed, friendly vibe. It was a warm day, so we tasted the Rose and the Viognier - both are very nice.
We very much enjoyed our visit to Cristom. Delicious wines and great views. Meghan and Brian were very friendly and informative. The location is serene surrounded by wildflowers, birds and the bees.
Jessica was amazing- so knowledgeable. Our experience was very relaxed, and Cristom is one of the most exquisite examples of what Oregon Pinot Noir can be. Highly recommend making a reservation.
One of my favorite wines. Small winery just over an hour away from Portland.
