Cute little restaurant with walls of windows to watch the planes. The food was good. Clam chowder was excellent. Service was outstanding, friendly, and quick. Online menu prices are not accurate, but there isn't a huge difference. Full bar. This was a fun little find and not too far from our hotel traveling through.

So....mixed bag with this review. I'll start with the positive. Food was really good and the service was good, too. Had the French Dip and the Salmon dish. But, the overall experience could've been better. Was told by the server that there was no Happy Hour, which was the main reason this place was chosen. The website for the restaurant (yes, the actual website, not Google or Yelp) has Happy Hour very prominent on their home page. The server said that they don't do it anymore. The prices on the website's menu are outdated and incorrect, as well. Was looking forward to trying some of their appetizers from the HH menu, but certainly was not going to pay $15 for mozzarella sticks off the regular menu. All in all, not a bad experience, but wouldn't necessarily be rushing back. The owners of the restaurant really need to correct these mistakes so that the servers are not put in the position to have to explain themselves. It isn't that difficult to remove the tab/page from the site and it should be simple enough to upload recent/accurate menus.

Jet A fuel, mmmmm what other smell would a pilot want to smell.
Ahh, a pastrami sandwich. No wonder pilots crave coming here! Also, the view is awesome overlooking the Salem airport.

The salmon I ordered came with a vegetable that should have been thrown out.
It was obviously yellow and old. I needed to ask for a sharp knife to cut it.
It looked the horrible on my plate and was extremely unappealing.

Breakfast was ok, scramble. Food overall was bland, little to no seasoning. Dinner was terrible. $30 for a dry salmon with no flavor. Waitor basically tried to tell me tough luck bc that is how they always make it. Won't be going back.

If you like to watch airplanes then this might be the only reason to go to this restaurant... mediocre food for an upscale price! Huge let down... One waitress(poor thing) full house. Not her fault but... Mediocre service, food didn't come for over an hour AFTER app. Had a sandwich, chicken w/rice and a soup salad combo.... Amateur...a table that came in 30 min after us (had similar orders) got their food 30 min before we did... For the price...never going here again, not even "satisfied" let alone impressed.

The flight deck
See photos for current prices, Web site menu prices photos outdated. Was told that there are no happy hour pricing on appetizers or drinks.
Ordered the onion rings. They were fried without being greasy. The fish was the same result, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The french fries were slender and crispy, with a good outer crunch. The tarter sauce was a creamy dill mixture and the ranch dressing had a good flavor. The wife got the crab melt which had a good taste. Waitress was friendly and the service attentive. Bonus was the view of the airport and one of the private jets that landed, was told that it is a Honda jet. A pleasant, low key dining experience with an airport view.

Been here several times. Everything I've had is pretty good. Prices are a bit bloated but then again tell me a place with good food that isn't pricey these days.
Nothing really fancy about it but the service is usually good and it's a lot of fun to be able to watch all of the planes from a nice elevated position while you have a yummy meal.
