Garibaldi | Mexican Restaurant & Cantina

We visited tonight for the first time. We were greeted and seated right away. The place is super clean with low, inviting music. I ordered the seafood chimichanga. For the first time in about 5+ years I actually got the perfect mixture of seafood and sauce on top! I was so excited to see the chimichanga exactly like I prefer I totally forgot to take pictures! My husband got the carne asada and spicy shrimp and loved it! We were checked on various times and did not even have to request extra napkins!! They were brought with the tortillas (which are handmade)! The staff were super friendly and happy! We have found our new favorite place to eat!

You are actually insane to be charging me nearly 30 dollars for a quesadilla with carne asada. like that is mental illness level of insanity to have the audacity to overcharge like that. do you even pay your workers well? do they have benefits and a livable wage to price things at an insane rate? idk why people aren’t downright refusing and complaining as i know you’ll continue to raise the prices for mid service and food that’s nothing to write home about

We took my mom out for her birthday and had the best time. We love Garibaldi's. We've been going there since they were in West Salem. Highly recommend.

Great place to come and enjoy an amazing meal. Wide selection of entrees that all taste amazing. The portion sizes are generous, and I never leave hungry. Would highly recommend if you love Mexican food or just great food in general!

Enjoy this place every time, we always come with my family every few weeks, we enjoy the amazing food options, the servers and staff are great and friendly as well you get good amount of food for the price which can sometimes be shared.

I did not receive my sour cream and guacamole but got chips and salsa with no taste.

It’s rare to find a restaurant with such reliable excellence in flavor, wait time, and customer service. They serve large portions of delicious nutritious comfort food that more than justifies the price. The odds of needing a to-go box is high unless you’re a big eater. The menu is vast so there’s something for everyone including vegetarians and children and people who want a cheeseburger. I personally recommend their seafood (mariscos) dishes. And the beans…amazingly perfect. Our server always provides an A+ experience. The food arrives quickly and piping hot. Some of the staff don’t speak much English which encourages diners to practice some Spanish. Great place for a date or celebration. It wasn’t noisy like so many restaurants tend to be. You can carry a conversation without having to yell. I do not drink. As such, I can’t review the cantina. But if it’s only a table for two, bring about $70 (that’s including tip). If ordering alcoholic refreshments, bring $100.
