The ONLY Mexican restaurant in Salem that has the perfect seafood chimichanga! Food is always perfect. Service is always amazing! Even the restroom is clean and smells good! Best place to eat authentic Mexican food hands down!

Got the Garibaldi special. Asked for no chicken and substitute with extra carne. Didn't get extra carne just got no chicken. Probably just go to los dos next time

After 1 and a half years of searching for a decent, clean, delicious Mexican food, we finally found it tonight! Superb! Everything was delicious and hot! We will definitely be back!

This was my first time eating here, even though I’ve lived in Salem for quite a while now. I don’t know how I didn’t know about this place. We went for lunch on a random Wednesday and firstly, the entire restaurant, including the bathrooms is spotless. The service was great. I ordered a virgin blackberry daiquiri and it tasted exactly like it should. Our lunch orders were tasty. My husband said his fajitas were light on the steak, but my coconut shrimp and shrimp enchilada was a huge plate of food. I would skip the dessert though, because the fried ice cream was not really crispy like I was hoping. It didn’t have that crunchy cornflake exterior, but it did come in a fried tortilla cup. The flan was a little on the heavy side. I would definitely return to this restaurant to see what else they have on the menu.

I used to go to la hacienda but Garibaldi is now my favorite
favorite chips are always fresh salsa is not hot. Plate presentation is very appealing. The other restaurant charges for a taco salad shell seperate start off on 13.75 when you get bill 17.90 was a big shock extra for tiny scoop guacamole extra for taco shell. I did not like that kind of business practice. Guacamole I understand a little extra. GARIBALDI does not charge extra for taco shell great atmosphere. Service is excellent very nice ladys.

There is a waitress her name is I think alexandria (?) she practically saved my family's lives. As we finished, my niece had a seizure and collapsed. Alexandria was fast to call 911. My little kids were running scared, and my truck was running!! That was the most vulnerable moment of my life. I could not take care of all of my children at once! Without hesitation, she scooped up my babies like ducklings, and kept them safe. She then moved the vehicle safely out of the way for the ambulance while I waited with my niece for paramedics. Then I cannot believe it alexandria refused extra money beyond a smidgen for tip- nothing for thanking her!! I want to say to the world: Women like this are indispensable. They need more appreciation, more money, more everything! Y'all, our world needs more women like this! From the bottom of my heart, thank God they had a waitress like alexandria on duty.
Side, noteThe service and the food and the prices are all the reason I was there to begin with- duh! I'm still licking my fingers after that meal! By the way, all my kids are safe and sound- all worked out. I recommend it definitely. If you see alexandria, tell her, SW said, hello.
