I transport items all over the country and love trying new places. This is a nice little hidden spot. Very fresh pasta. Very good flavor and sauces seasoned well. Meatballs & sausage were the smallest I have ever seen and portions as well. If your a big eater, hungry or buying for large group you will need to get an extra meal.

Hadn't been here in over twenty years. Still looked the same inside. It has an east coast old school Italian vibe. Our pizza was good and the service was spot on. We had a large group and the server didn't miss a beat. Great place if you are looking for some traditional Italian comfort food at a reasonable price.

Hostess had a bunch of people waiting to be helped up front. We only needed to know where our party was. We had someone from our party come to us instead. Server was really nice and helpful. Portion sizes were super small and the food lacked flavor. The meatballs were really good though. Overall, the food was okay but definitely over-priced for what we got.

The pepperoni pizza is excellent. Great thin crust with lots of cheese. The large is always on sale for $15 and is cut party style.
Good selection of draft beer.
Service is usually great but was a bit slower at my last visit but the server was knowledgeable and got better as our visit went.
We ate in the bar which was medium sized with poker machines and booth seating.
Overall cost was well worth it.

We had the pizza and my wife insisted on the thick crust. I wanted the thin crust so my wife won. The crust was thick. The sauce was good. Everything was homemade. We had a custom pizza with sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms and olives. It was really good, I've had their food before and it's really good.

Great quality food for a fair price. The price is equivalent to Olive Garden, though the quality is better here. Nathanial was our server, he was very helpful.

I don’t hand out reviews lightly, but as someone who writes them regularly when it needs to be said, this one is well deserved.
My family and I were planning a Sunday meal at Geppetto’s — we wanted some Italian food and pizza. But before we even stepped inside, the experience was already ruined.
In the parking lot, a small grey Kia Soul driven by someone dropping off an employee cut me off even though I clearly had the right of way. Then they stopped right in front of me, blocking traffic, while the employee slowly got out and grabbed his bags from the back seat. No attempt to pull aside. No rush, even while I waited, they didn't put their hazard light.
And the worst part? No wave, to at least say “thanks for waiting,” no basic courtesy. Instead, the employee gave me a tough look, like we were nothing and walked into the restaurant. That attitude said it all. I immediately called my family and canceled our plan to meet up at Geppetto’s. I wasn’t about to ruin our day over an interaction like that.
It’s unfortunate because Geppetto’s has a reputation for good food. But respect and attitude matter just as much as flavor, and one careless employee cost this place a table of customers — and this review.
And here’s something I couldn’t help but notice as we drove away: the parking lot spaces facing directly toward Geppetto’s front door were completely empty on a Sunday, while the sections near the neighboring restaurant and shops were packed. That image spoke louder than words.

Really wanted to experience this place but service was so bad we left. We waited a long time to be seated and they said they where short handed. We continued to sit there for another 15 to 20 minutes without drinks or acknowledgement while they continued to clear tables and seat others. We finally just got up and left. They should have not seated anyone until they were ready to serve them. There are ways to continue to give good service even when short staffed. Primarily you limit seating to what can be handled and stagger the seating. They should have let us know there was a fifteen minute wait and cleared prior to seating us. That way they can control quality and service. Looked like a good Italian restaurant so I was disappointed that I did not get to try it.

Little small but the food was way better then the place we are at downtown Salem. Way worth the money. Definitely will be coming here more often when I want amazing Italian food.

Ate in the bar area. Good food and service. The chocolate suicide cake is rich and delicious for dessert!

Like walking into the 70's or 80's, and I mean that in a good way. Old school Italian restaurant that can be done casually or for a nice place to celebrate a special dinner. The food is good, and well worth a visit. Plenty of parking and near just about every shopping option one could desire.

Must have been an off night. Nothing special about the food, very bland, no flavor. To be honest I think they were short staffed because we never saw our server after food was delivered.

Such a nice place for a family dinner out. The decor and the food takes you back to the kind of Italian place you went to as a kid, before food network, and food bloggers. You likely won't find any new experiences, or culinary trends on their menu, but you will find familiar classics that are made well and taste great.
The staff is attentive and kind and treat you like you are apart of one large extended family. Treating you with kindness and compassion even when you arive with a fussy 2 year old who fell asleep in the car on the drive over. My family and I sure to be coming back for many more meals.
