Hubby and I decided to pop in on a Friday night as we had not been to Gilgamesh for at least a year - and the weather was conducive to outdoor dining (for once.LOL) Low key, not a lot of diners decent music on the PA, and we had great service from Monica! Started with Chickpeas - delish! Had a little kerfuffle with the Korean Steak Bites - I prefer my beef to be on the rare side - these bites were a tad overdone - abra cadabra - Monica very sweetly took the plate and way and returned the plate with the steak bites very much to my liking - it was really good. Hubby had the Fish and Chips which I think was steelhead - also really, really good. The beer is fab it goes without saying - it's their jam of course. Monica was lively, super attentive and made this visit very pleasant :)-. (we had just come from a party at the Yard - - no parking, crazy loud, and no table service for drinks) :(

Had a great dinner - food and service was really good. We were a group of 10! Sat immediately, drinks and food came fast. The waitress was very friendly and helpful and kept all our chaos straight. Only sad thing was not being able to sit outside.

Good beer. Good service. Nice spot with lots of windows. Hubby’s ribeye was good, although a thin steak, still cooked well. Here comes the but…BUT, the “smash burger” is not a smash burger at all and that’s just a pet peeve of mine. Call it what it is! It’s a thick, probably premade, patty. The burger was good enough with good toppings and served with yummy fries and dipping sauces, but if you’re looking for the thin, smashed patty with the crispy edges, that’s not what you’re going to get here.

Mac and cheese was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!! The employees were ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!! Cozy atmosphere, warm and inviting. Love this restaurant 😋

We went for a date night & the server was so sweet, she gave us a bigger table because we had our 4 month old baby with us in his car seat. This was awesome because we weren’t crammed at a table for two with a huge car seat! The food was soooo good- we ordered the surf and turf appetizer, the street tacos, smash burger and they were all so good. The armed and turf shrimp and steak bites were 15/10 - I already want more. My lemon drop was delicious. Our server was sweet, super attentive. No complaints at all, other than it’s a little on the spendy side.

I have never been so disappointed in failed management. I had a question that the waitress couldn’t answer. She was trying to be a go between with the manager but still couldn’t answer my question. I asked twice for the manager to come speak to me directly but she refused to do so. Your upper management needs to terminate the manager working tonight as she clearly doesn’t care about your customers.

Prices on the posted menu are not accurate. Add at least $5.00. All plates $19. Up.

Food has been always delicious clean my only complaint would be the service was less than desirable. We were charged a gratuity of 20% just for my meal not including the other families had I been anywhere else you servers would not have ever gotten a tip. Had the service been the way it should have been I would not have had a problem. But I feel that your servers don't take their job as serious knowing that already are getting a tip. I know I am only one person but Word of Mouth goes a long ways
