I have never been so disappointed in failed management. I had a question that the waitress couldn’t answer. She was trying to be a go between with the manager but still couldn’t answer my question. I asked twice for the manager to come speak to me directly but she refused to do so. Your upper management needs to terminate the manager working tonight as she clearly doesn’t care about your customers.

Food has been always delicious clean my only complaint would be the service was less than desirable. We were charged a gratuity of 20% just for my meal not including the other families had I been anywhere else you servers would not have ever gotten a tip. Had the service been the way it should have been I would not have had a problem. But I feel that your servers don't take their job as serious knowing that already are getting a tip. I know I am only one person but Word of Mouth goes a long ways

Sat in the wrong spot, It was noisy. The food was good. Service was spotty. Overall I would return.

3 of my out of town guests traveled Salem to celebrate my birthday.

With 100° weather, heat was a concern. I chose Gilgamesh on Madrona SE.

Amongst the canopy of trees, the large deck on beautiful grounds and Pringle Crrek nearby, it was lovely.

Waitstaff named Buck was friendly efficient and made suggestions. He added to our special lunch.

Last but not least, food was very good. Two had Chicken Bacon Avocado Sandwich on a FABULOUS bun. (I want another one today!) Another got Quesadilla...raved. The generous Cobb Salad was envied by all! Thank you Gilgamesh team!

Most amazing beer. The staff are great.. walked in and asked to buy some beer to go. 48 cans of MAMBA later and I was out. Fast quick service. Love the beer and brewery, just a shame I had to drive from Canada to get it. But so worth it

Liz the manager needs to not acuse her employees of being high on the job, especially when she's sipping a beer with her coworker while being the accuser. My son worked at gilgamesh for about 2 months and was fired by Liz for calling in sick his 1st day, he was called unreliable...she likes to also tell my son he was high because he had allergys and his eyes were red, but she said it's ok I smoke too. Not to professional from her...

Wow, Saturday afternoon 7/6 not busy at all, the slowest service I have ever experienced. Waited at the door for 4 minutes (while waitress walking by) before being told to sit anywhere. Took another 8 minutes for a waiter to come to the table. Finally ordered and waited 25 minutes before the waiter told us the pizzas were just being put in...waiter did apologize for the wait. After 1 1/2 hrs, got food but waiter forgot 1 order. Got the order to go. Yuck cold. Asked to see Manager, she would not come out and made the waiter take the heat...I will be sure to tell my experience to all who will listen.
This was at the Coast location

Gilgamesh has been our team's go-to hangout after client meetings in Salem for years. If you enjoy a creative beer selection, huge portions of French fries, and a great covered patio to hang out, this is your spot. The service has always been timely, friendly, and attentive. Parking is easy, and prices are reasonable.

Great beer, awesome happy hour, and you can bring your kids and dogs. Outdoor seating in summer is great. And the Gilgamary on Sunday's is almost a meal by itself. Service is always good, staff is friendly and accommodating. Try some of their seasonal beers.

Great service, great food. Nice selection of craft beer. The kitchen delivered consistently high quality dishes over several visits. Clean quiet atmosphere.

Great place, beautiful inside and out. Great food, liquor choices, and great beer. Gilgamesh is a fantastic brewery. I got the wings this trip. They were perfectly cooked and not breaded. It's a brew pup connected to the brewery. The service is great always. Inside and outdoor covered seating. The 4 stars come from one issue: the bathroom is very handicapped friendly and clean but if you are scent sensitive you will not be able to use the restroom. I'm only moderately sensitive to the scented sprays in restrooms but this one completely overwhelmed me. I had to hold my breath as much as I could and still breath. It made my eyes water. If they change to a much less aggressive/astringent scent I'm sure it would be fine.
