We went to ‘Half Penny’ Tavern in Salem on St Patricks Day 2025, from a referral in FB group ‘SalemEats’. It was a festive day, they had live music at lunch time. The layout was easy to socialize and the decor inside was fun and comfortable. Cold beer, good appetizers and friendly wait staff. Highly recommend! Lots of free parking.
I just wanted to say THANK YOU for helping Christine's friends and I, throw her a great 60th Birthday Party. The tables were just right and David was great, you need to hang on to him, he helped make the night with his great service and attitude. Thanks to Half Penny, I couldn't have asked for more.

Order food to go. Was ok. Was splitting the ribs so we selected the bbq sauce on side option. Was smothered so much you couldn't even taste the meat. And we are from Texas, we know ribs.
