I went to the Hawaiian Time in West Salem but they were understaffed and the cooks had quit. I left a review on that restaurant. I called this restaurant while in the parking lot of the Hawaiian Time in West Salem and asked if there was seating available inside and the person told me yes. I asked if they were understaffed as well like the one in West Salem and they said yes but were open. When I got there, I went inside and was going to order and the worker told me that they only have rice and mac. They told me all there cooks quit as well. I was upset that the person that I spoke to didn’t tell me that the food choice was limited to only rice and mac.

Came in during a Friday lunch. As an out of towner, I was excited to try a Hawaiian franchise. The Huli huli chicken came with a side of mac a side of rice and the chicken on top of another bed of rice. Felt like it was too much rice. The atmosphere was busy with lots of folks coming in and out and the cashier was very polite. Other reviews mentioned portions getting smaller, while I have no prior experience here, I was quite full with my portion albeit mostly being rice. Overall a middling experience.

They finally have beef back at this location, and they have a solid staff ate here for dinner, Everything tasted great and had good service.

The only reason I'm giving this a 4 out of 5 and not a 5 out of 5 for the food. What is because there's no spam rice and eggs on the menu. But all in all the food is really good. The location is great because I've got to do laundry I can stop by and get a pretty good meal for a good price. The picture is of the Huli huli chicken.

I love Hawaiian time but what’s going on ? I feel like the portion sizes have got so small . The last two times I’ve went it just keeps getting smaller it’s crazy. It’s not like it used to be. Sad . This is the medium $11.95???

Love this location! They brought back the Honolulu beef! Granted it was taken off menu due to the beef shortage but it was a big reason I had started going to other places. They definitely earned my bussiness back, everyone try the beef!
