This place used to be really good, but lately I've received absolute garbage-level customer service and the food has been so-so. Several weeks ago I went through the drive-thru, placed my order, and pulled up to the window. I sat there for more than 10 minutes without any employee even acknowledging me (though one did make eye contact with me and walked away).
Tonight I went through the drive-thru and the employee blatantly sighed at me while taking my order. When I got home (30 minutes away) I discovered that they didn't even give me my full meal. I ordered a Dakine vegetarian plate (veggies, rice, and macaroni). All I got was some veggies. Nothing else. I called 5 times but no one answered (they didn't close for another 25 minutes). Also they had no answering machine.
Avoid this place if you can.

Went to this location last night for dinner, ordered the Mauna Loa chicken plate. I will say it was delicious going down, but not coming back up. I got food poisoning hours after eating my meal. Probably won’t come back, will try a more authentic spot.

Honestly, super frustrating to come here and not be able to order more than half of the items on the menu. They said they had the items put away for veggies and the stuff to make the salads. You’re still open…. So why can’t you just make it? Lost business and money. I understand being out of something, but just blatantly refusing to make items on your menu because you chose to put it away early and you didn’t want to get it out again…Terrible way to run a business.

The food is fine - the chicken/rice is my kid's safe food, so we order consistently for him. My issue is that the people at West Salem's drive thru consistently ask me if I'd like to tip the staff after they have my card in their hand. Pretty awkward.. and I don't want my kid's food messed with or under-portioned, so I always feel obligated to tip.
To clarify, we always tip generously when applicable. However, asking every single person to make a donation to you at the drive thru window is extremely off-putting.
Atmosphere gets 3/5, as I've watched groups of homeless crowd around the wide open backdoor talking to employees and walk away while I've been waiting in drive thru.. and they're not walking away with food.

Wow! $15.95 for a veggie plate that was 85% rice! The Mac salad had way too much mayo and was so peppery it was gross! Needless to say extremely disappointed! You can't get a hold of them via phone either! I am never going back there! *edit * South store is going to make this right. Thank you!

Every time I order “sub rice for mac” they still give me rice. I don’t like rice and it’s a waste of food when they don’t substitute it how I order. It’s not that hard to read the order and make it correctly. I get if it’s busy and this happens but they consistently do this. Please just read the label and give people what they order.

The food was delicious! I asked for the macaroni salad to be in a separate container and it didn't come that way.
As someone who goes here once or twice a month, It's inconsistent on whether the food quality will be good or not. For example, their sandwhich bread is supposed to be toasted, but it only actually is for me less than half the time. I also love the chicken, but I know I'm taking a gamble when I'm ordering it, whether it's going to be dry and cold, or actually cooked how it's supposed to be. Same goes for the mac salad, sometimes it tastes like a glob of mayo and noodles, and other times it's seasoned perfectly.
The workers are always nice though, so I'll give them that, and the food is good when it's actually made right. But the previous issues mentioned have definitely made me reconsider coming here when I get the cravings for it
