The last two times I've gone there, they are completely out of Kalua pork ...not sure I want to bother anymore.

I like the Huli Huli chicken, but I’m not a fan of the pork. It tastes like it has a little bit of smoked flavor in it without much other flavoring. Service is pretty quick because they’re not very busy, but the customer service is a little bit odd. For example, if I tell them, I want a Huli Huli Alii, Which is the way they label the meal, they will repeat back so you want a large chicken? That is kind of an odd marketing thing. The restaurant kind of gives the feel of being a little under clean or under kept. In general, I have a mixed feeling, I really like the Huli Huli Chicken And I have had it multiple times, it is not as good as Local Boyz was in Corvallis, but they have been closed for years now. So it is the best Hawaiian food I have found in this area. Definitely a lot of room for improvement.

I went there for lunch on May 14, 2025 and the doors were locked. A worker came to the door and stated that the lobby was not open. They had limited staff and that there were only a few selections of what could be ordered. I asked the worker why and she said most all of the cooks quit. She did say that they had some items but I would need to use the drive through. This is the Hawaiian Time in West Salem. I went to the other Hawaiian Time on Mission street near the airport and close to the same issues were present there.

5 out of the last 5 times we've gone we haven't gotten the extra sauce we paid for. This last time we asked for no Mac, they usually give extra rice, but no, they just left the Mac spot completely empty and there was only maybe 5 bites of rice in our three regulars each. We will not be going back. Needs management to monitor the food before it goes out to customers.

Ive been here maybe 3 times in last few months. I ask for extra sauce I know there is a charge for that. Check my bag and no extra sauce 3rd time this Has happened

They keep the lights off to make you think they’re closed. They’re supposed to close at nine but they’re closed now 30 minutes early. Everyone is already packing up inside. This place has the worst service and unpredictable hours and food.
Place has okay food. Had a better experience this trip. Was here a few years back and the ice from the soda machine had mold. Skipped the ice this round.

I went to this restaurant because it smelled so good . I didn't know what to get so.i ordered a chicken sandwich , it wasn't cheap but I figured it's worth it well i was so very wrong all I got was chicken and a bun literally nothing else and the smell was nothing like the taste so 1st and last time there

I've been multiple times to both hawaiian time location and the food is great at both. But today (03/31/25) after a 10 hour shift me and my coworker pulled our truck and short cargo trailer into the parking lot choosing the best location to park, infront not blocking the drive-through. Seeing as a suv and sedan where able to go right around and into the drive-through before we walked in. As we walked in, a worker walked to the counter and with some attitude told us we couldn't park there, the reason she told us was that it was blocking the drive-through. Normally I would understand but seeing as two cars came through which I explained to her she still was saying we couldn't park there. The only other option was to leave so that's what we did, as there was no where else to park. Either way the lady with the five nose piercings need to get better critical thinking skills.
