The food is fine - the chicken/rice is my kid's safe food, so we order consistently for him. My issue is that the people at West Salem's drive thru consistently ask me if I'd like to tip the staff after they have my card in their hand. As someone who goes here once or twice a month, It's inconsistent on whether the food quality will be good or not. For example, their sandwhich bread is supposed to be toasted, but it only actually is for me less than half the time. I also love the chicken, but I know I'm taking a gamble when I'm ordering it, whether it's going to be dry and cold, or actually cooked how it's supposed to be. Hawaiian time is a guilty pleasure.
The way to go is to plan way ahead and order online. I don't know what it is about this place but they absolutely will not answer their phone. Going in and ordering takeout is going to take about 20 minutes most times. Ordering online is your best bet.
The service is absolutely terrible but the food is just good. #6 all day! :-) My wife and I share a large and it's perfect.
