The service is always great and staff are friendly. Delicious Butter Chicken & Chicken Vindaloo with garlic naan... YUM. I've been here a few times and it never disappoints. They painted making it much lighter and bright inside. The soon to come bar will be ready in a few months. Can't wait!! When they found out it was my girlfriend's birthday they brought us a delicious dessert. Give it a try!

10/10 amazing lunch special, everyday of the week! $15 for the meats, $13 for vegetarian. Comes with a delicious naan and everything seen here is $28 total! Also, tea or soda included… hurry up and get over here 🤤

I had a wonderful experience at India Palace. The moment I walked in, the staff greeted me warmly and made me feel welcome. I ordered the Chicken Pakoras, Butter chicken, Garlic naan, Tikka Masala, Dal Makhini, Vegetable Biryani, Lamb saag, All dishes were outstanding. The spices were well-balanced and the portions were generous. The restaurant itself is clean, comfortable, and has a relaxing atmosphere. Service was quick, and our server checked in often without being intrusive. This place is big enough for large gatherings. Overall, India Palace is easily one of the best Indian restaurants in the area. Highly recommended!

Wonderful and delicious food the lamb was spicy but VERY good. The curry chicken was the best in Salem Oregon. The Jasmine long rice was also VERY good. Highly recommend.

I was in a hurry & accidentally ordered from this place instead of my new favorite, Cuisine India. Before I walked out the door with my bag of food, I asked the gentleman working if the sauces that I requested were in the bag & he assured me they were.
They weren't. That was enough for me to never go back.
But hey, let's talk about the food. My vegetarian dish was not even in the realm of deliciousness compared to the other place. Not nearly as flavorful. Luckily this was only a $22 dollar mistake.
Don't tell me everything is in the bag when it isn't. Liar.

A long time downtown favorite for Indian food. The menu is large and varied. There is an entire vegetarian section. The naan is good here

We entered the restaurant and it wasnt busy. The bald gentleman(an employee) was having a casual conversation with another lady (also an employee).
They saw us and waited for about a minute to approach us. Exactly about the time when he can nonchalantly tell us that he cant take our order.
We asked table for 2 and he said we are closing. The take out option was open but instead he said we are closing.
That was fine. Then we asked for the lunch special for take out and he said he wont give that as a take out.
We had to leave the restaurant hungry unfortunely.
Hopefuly the owner reads this review.

If I can give 0 star, I would do that. We arrived at 1.43pm. The server took time to take order and then said it was 1.45pm, so he couldn't take the order for dine in. He also refused to take lunch specials for take out. Unfortunately, we had to leave.

I’ve had curries and naan bread from street vendors and had yet to experience an actual traditional meal. My only regret is that my wife and I waited so long to experience this explosion of flavors and seasonings in every bite! The Thali with buttered chicken and chicken saag paired with dala and basmati rice scooped up with garlic naan is an out of this world experience, if your someone who food feeds your soul you will not be disappointed. Google says the place was closed but it was in fact open on Saturday for lunch. Can’t wait to explore their many more options
