Great buffet! They have the best butter chicken too. Most dishes are spiced moderately. Always a good rotation of changing dishes to keep things interesting. Thanks as always.
Garlic naan was excellent! Butter chicken was the best I have found in salem but not the best I have ever had
Omg omg omg, like idk how to explain how damn good the food is here, I was expecting to eat it like typical food, smash it within 5 ot 10 mind, no that is not the case here, this is one of the most enjoyable experience I had ever eating out, and spending my money on, cause everything about the lunch special plate I got was completely satisfying...
I honestly for the first time ever, can actually say I was in heaven for the first time eating, it is that perfect in my mind, like I have had good food, but this place is on another level, and if you haven't experienced it yet I highly recommend you do, cause it is worth every cent you spent on it!!!
I have ordered food, and I got half cooked chicken.
After living in Salem for a couple years, I was very amazed to see an Indian restaurant of this caliber in downtown Salem. I now plan on coming here all the time because they have delicious chutney and incredible atmosphere. Very authentic and the tea is really great!
The food is amazing! The flavor profiles are so unique for our area. Best food in Salem in my opinion! We just went yesterday, and we already want to go back as soon as possible!
March 23rd, 2025.The website shows 'Lunch Buffet : We have 25 items on Buffet daily lunch'. Looking at website we went for the lunch buffet. When we asked about the buffet lunch, the waitress said 'We don't have buffet.' We said 'it is on your website.' She said 'We didn't update website.' We were disappointed. If we had known that there is not buffet, we had gone other place. Food was good, customer service was bad.

India Palace in downtown Salem is a gem! The warm and welcoming atmosphere perfectly complements their incredible food. We've been three times now, and the butter chicken, chicken curry, and garlic naan are consistently delicious - each bite is bursting with flavor. The friendly service and reasonable prices make it an easy recommendation. Whether you're new to Indian cuisine or a seasoned pro, you'll love India Palace. We'll definitely be back
SOOO good and a lovely dining area with quick service 🌼
We ordered take-out to be delivered.
The Butter Chicken, Papadam, Chicken Tikka Masala and Vegetable Pakoras were excellent! All the selections were freshly prepared and the food was a hot temperature. Ordering -delivery took less
than an hour. The price was reasonable considering a less desirable fast food menu would cost about the same dollar amount.
We will order again from India Palace.

Two stars due to food being tasty until I came across a sizable bone? Wood chip? In my take-out fish curry. Could have done some damage if not for chewing well!!
Flavor city!! Loooved our meal. Two people split garlic naan, vegetables samosas and chicken tikka masala. We were super full and satisfied. The flavors were so rich. One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to, and I love Indian food! The staff was awesome and it was in a cute location right downtown.
Went in for lunch and everything was delicious. The Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala and Malai Kofta were some of the best I’ve had. The garlic naan was to die for. Will be coming back to try more dishes.
Absolutely EVERYTHING was delicious! Cannot overstate how impressed with this restaurant I was. I have seen it a thousand times over the years but have never stopped in until recently. The lunch special was $15 and was more than enough food. I ended up taking some to go and having the leftovers for dinner even. I plan on coming back again soon and introducing my friends and family so they can experience their fine cuisine. They are located in downtown Salem so parking isn’t an issue nor does it cost any money. The butter chicken was my favorite! The chicken tiki masala was also incredible!
Biryani has not reached expectations, it is sweet in taste, other food items were also sweet where they are supposed to be spicy.
