I’ve been here three times now for the Brooklyn, which is great, but one thing really bothers me every single visit — they refuse to get my name right. My name is Maria, yet every time I order, they change it to Mariah.
At first, I thought it was a mistake. But during my last visit, I made sure the person taking my order repeated my name correctly, he said “Maria” — and still entered it as “Mariah.” That made it very clear this wasn’t an accident.
It may not seem like a big deal to some, but as a Hispanic woman, it feels disrespectful and dismissive. My name isn’t hard to say or spell. It’s frustrating and disappointing that something as simple as entering a customer’s name correctly isn’t being done, especially when it starts to feel intentional.

Got ordered the breakfast sandwich at the counter and didn’t realize that you could get different options. It was kinda hard to read the younger people didn’t really help me much but the food was good. The coffee was good and they came out to make sure I didn’t want egg on my vegan sandwich which that was nice of them overall Good food kind of a really young weight staff and I wasn’t used to that but we got it fast on a Monday morning and we got a ticket while parking our car so food was good but a little iffy today.

I tried their bagel - not toasted. I needed to really judge the product. Coated in delicious sesame seeds, super chewy outside, & very tender-soft inside. It'll make a fantastic tapanade & dry salami open-face sandwich.

Beautiful place. Coffee was delicious. Super timely as well. I got a Hazelnut Mocha 16oz for 6 dollars, I'd consider it a steal in modern day lol Highly recommend for a studious place
Nice place, but it is a bit pricey and the lines can be long. I had the backed eggs and cappuccino, they were good just expensive.

I found this place last year when I was in town for a Safety Summit at the Salem Convention Center a couple of blocks away and needed to kill some time before registering.
What a great place with a good selection of coffee, tea and other beverages choices including some local brews and wines. The place and staff are laid back, friendly and helpful with free WiFi. Prices are moderate with a nice menu of breakfast and lunch food options.

Me and my 90 year old mom stopped for lunch there, our first visit. We were so pleased with everything. The atmosphere, the staff and the food is amazing, my mom had the power bowl and I the curry chicken salad, but the cherry on the top was our espresso milkshakes. My mom got the decaf and I the regular and we couldn’t put them down they were so delicious. This was our first visit but definitely will not be our last.
