I ordered the 'Rib platter' for 20 bucks. TWO ribs, 2 tbl of slaw and 4 oz of beans. Two f****ing ribs. I feel like going out in front of the truck and just telling everyone don't get screwed.

This is a really good cart. Owner/chef was very nice and answered questions about the menu/daily specials. Had the chicken plate, which was excellent. Chicken was mouth watering good, cornbread was filling, and the beans/greens/mac complemented well. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting this cart pod.

Spectacular and southern straight from Memphis, TN. This man brings the heat & smoke with perfection!!! Don't take my word for it go ahead and try it out. Fair warning his sides are a bit on the salty, and takes away from the flavor. You won't be disappointed with his BBQ.

Alright, this place is SO good!! We tried the chicken, ribs, and catfish Friday. Ribs were 9/10, others 8/10. Where Jojo's really wins is the sides... This is the best Mac n cheese I've ever had (even better than the Tillamook Mac a few hours up the road....). Cornbread was also fantastic. And Kevin is the nicest guy. You have to come here!

Amazing southern bbq with a food truck owner that absolutely LOVES what he does! My favorite is the BBQ chicken but I've had everything and it's all delicious. Even the baked beans are full of ground beef and sausage slices. Always huge servings for a great price. He gets busy early, so come and visit The Yard. Grab a coffee, an amazing changing selection of beers and ciders on tap or full bar and enjoy music and fun live events while eating some awesome southern bbq!

Ricky catered a work event and the food was legit-delicious! We had smoked bbq chicken, pulled pork, beans, mac n cheese, and coleslaw. The flavoring and quality was perfect! We were impressed! This man brought Memphis to Oregon! I can be picky with soul food cause not everyone can pull it off right! He sure does. I could have bit my finger getting all that tasty bbq sauce in my mouth! Careful now! I highly recommend! I'll be checking out catfish Fridays and still need to try the colllard greens which is the real test. Semper Fi Ricky!
Best bbq in Salem hands down! Aside from the mouthwatering ribs, the grilled chicken and collard greens with ham hock are standout!! The owner is amazing and the service is outstanding. Due to its popularity, there is always a line but the wait isn't bad and definitely worth it! The food cart pod is usually packed but I've always managed to find tables. It has an outside and inside covered area with a bar and about twenty other carts. There's a huge parking lot. I recommend grabbing a plate from here, lots of napkins and a drink from the bar. Sitting outside on a sunny day was a highlight!

I only wish I could give 6 stars to show how stand-out this meal was. We stopped here on a beautiful, sunny Thursday night for some dinner and drinks. We ordered the rib and chicken plate with an extra cornbread to share between two people, it was plenty of food for 2! The chicken was cooked to perfection and the ribs were tasty. The mac and cheese was rich and flavorful, creamy and just a little tangy. You don't need much of that to be satisfied, but it was hard to stop! The beans were the surprising standout of the night, the had a sweet almost pineapple like flavor. I don't think I have ever found myself going back for more bites of beans. The owner gets up early every morning to get fresh ingredients and cook these delicious meals. This food is a labor of love and you can taste it!

I wanted to love it, I really did, but it's a no. Food was salty, not seasoned, just salty. Also, for Sunday dinner the portions were very small. Overall bad experience. I wanted to support this Black owned business but I can't support that.
