went in last night for my birthday after 10yrs since the last time we went out to a fancy place and ordered a molcajete tradicional and carne asada plate and the carne asada had no taste no flavor and the molcajete was a bowl of tomato soup in a metal bowl with bits of chicken and shrimp and got charged extra for the bits of steak in it. We were expecting to see fancy good food especially with their high prices and the service fee they charge for using card. Not cool! If you want real good fancy food and a actual real molcajete not a metal bowl go to la hacienda real in keizer plus they don't charge you the service fee.

We love this restaurant. They offer several vegetarian options and the freshly made tortillas are awesome ? This visit they have started charging a fee for credit cards, without telling guests. Take cash to be prepared if you want to avoid the service fee.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetable and soy options
Dietary restrictions: They always accommodate my avocado and dairy allergies

They are wonderful here, always attentive and provide great service. The food is excellent, don't miss out on the fresh tortillas! They also make an excellent Cadillac margarita! I eat here every time I'm in Salem. Thank you for being consistently great over the years!

Menu is huge and the food is great. Cadillac margarita are made perfect and as they should be with the Grand marniae in a separate shot glass.

Restaurant not to busy... very clean, fast friendly service. Odered a mucho grande, 3 options. I choose 3 chicken Chimichaga's. My wife ordered one enchilada and 2 chili relleno's. I asked for spicy salsa and got it. Food hot and delicious. Was more than i could eat in one serving, took the rest home. May be more expensive than other places, but quality, quantity is worth it. Try them.

I think 3 stars in being generous. I'm not sure if they changed owners since the last time I went. Admittedly it's been since January 2024 and it was great then, but we went earlier this week (July 2024) and the food was subpar and the prices outrageous. The prices have steadily increased over the last few years, which I get, but the food is not high end, to be charing such high prices. Such a shame, it was our family's choice for Mexican food in the area.
