One star is generous. A few days ago I ordered delivery. The only dish (out of 3 entrees) that was not 98% cooked mushy bean sprouts was the rice. I spent over $30 for this slop. The food did arrive hot, that is the only positive thing I can say about their food.GrubHub was awesome though.

Had the absolute worst dining experience at Lucky Fortune on Lancaster yesterday. Can't blame it on the "understaffed" or "heatwave " as we were the only family/patrons there. As soon as we arrived (all in masks cause it was posted as required), the young man was cleaning off a table, looks at us and says "what do you want", in those exact words. We shoulda turned around and left then...instead I said table for 5. He sighs, then goes to the counter and grabs 2 menu's and sits them on a table without words and continues to the table he was cleaning. We stood in the doorway wondering if that meant the table he left the menu's on was for us. 5 minutes went by and finally he asks if we wanted to be seated at the bar. I had 3 kids with me. Why would I lol...we sat down, he finished cleaning, then he went to the counter for 20 minutes before he came to take our drink order. By this time I'm pi$$ed off and my patience was gone. But yet we stayed. It was 15 more minutes before he came back to take our order, rather rudely if I may add. Our order came with egg flower soup that he never offered. When he came with the orders, I asked about the soup. He gave this obnoxious sound, went to the back, then came back with 4 bowls of egg flower soup for the 5 of us, no crackers, then started to walk away...1st time in 19 years that I didn't get crackers lol, and had that kind of service there. Never once were our waters refilled. After eating, usually I'll gather the dishes and stack them nicely to make their job easier everywhere I go...not this time lol. Instead I told my family let's go. No tip left. Table not picked up. I go to the counter to pay and the gentleman didn't even ask how was our meal. Instead he said I could leave a tip on the receipt. I told him that after 19 years of me spending money there, that it was my worst experience there. I told him that his family would be ashamed of him and that I would let everyone I know of my experience and I'll never go back again. So there you go...I'm telling everyone I know lol..

It was dreary and looked almost abandoned. Some patrons mostly for the gambling machines. The drinks were very, very strong to undrinkable.

Dine in for the full experience and flavor. Lucky fortune is just plain great. Their food is great, customer service is great. I am not a huge fan of the delivery, but I won't hold that against them. I can't imagine any Chinese delivery being as good as it is in the restaurant.Absolutely my favorite Chinese in Salem. Keep up the good work lucky fortune!

This place is BY FAR the best place to get Chinese food in all of Salem. Not only do they have the BEST food, the service is above and beyond. It's a family business that's had the same people there for the last 15-20 years! They have pool tables and poker machines in the lounge as well. If you want a treat, you should definitely stop in!

I was very pleased! Very delicious,came quick and food was very hot! They called me and delivered it in a very respectful manner and went above and beyond to help me out! Even gave us a soup on the house! I will definately be ordering again from here I was even able to pay in cash and its way better than any panda express. Prices were excellent and portions were more than enough of my family of 6. I ordered 3 Lo mein noodles,4 orange chicken with steamed rice, and a combination #3 plate. Way too much food but very great pricing!!!!!
Missed this. Moved away 15 years ago and it's only 40 minutes away, but the food has never changed. Amazing!

We went in to order food to go. While waiting my boyfriend played the machines and won $437 so that was nice. But the food however was disappointing. And it is expensive. I will not order from there again. But the service was ok. Just wish food had been. Was really looking forward to Chinese. But I am spoiled from Canton Gardens. They were closed ?☹️
