Hands down the worst bar I’ve been to in Oregon. Rude staff, unruly owner, bathroom was disgusting. And my friend’s dirty martini was half olive juice so she didn’t drink it and they still charged her for it. Hard pass

I love old bars, so I may be a little biased. The staff has always been friendly every time I have stopped in. Patrons seem like locals, and it's never been too rowdy (well, I have never been in during a big game, so it probably can get like that when Oregon or some other big favorite team is playing). The building is old and has clearly been here a very long time. The bar definitely has character. I feel right at home here.

My friends and I came in on a Saturday evening to eat and have some drinks. We were seated outside per our request and the waitress asked what we wanted but as we had just sat down we didn't know what we wanted yet. We waited 20-25 minutes and nobody came to check on us so we ended up leaving and we saw the two girls behind the bar chatting.

Came to hang with a friend for their birthday. Only had two staff working it seemed at the time. Not a big deal. Both were friendly and helpful.
I ordered the $14.95 combo pizza, at the counter. As I walked away, I literally heard the frozen Digiorno Pizza box being pulled from the freezer. you cant mistake the sound. You can buy them for $4 at Fred Meyer. And they all smell and look the same. You can literally tell if its frozen.
Sent a photo to a buddy who works at the Digiorno Pizza and he confirmed it was one of there. I was honestly just super disappointed.
They also had no ciders on tap, just canned. The outside section could use an upgrade and some TLC, and it just felt very dingy and kinda boring for a bar near the center of Salem.
They had free popcorn though, so if that's a hook for you, this place has it. Otherwise, there's better options downtown for the food and price / atmosphere.

4 (well) vodka red bulls = $56. Used to love this place. Won't be returning.
Came in when service was slow, took more than 15-20 minutes to even have my partner's order and mine taken. Watched many others who came in after get drinks, there were no prices for drinks on the menu. Food was OK after a long wait, but definitely not worth the price. Floor was a mess. The bartender held my partner's card instead of giving it back after paying. Not acceptable, definately didnt tip and not coming back

A lot of the people in there were drunk already and it was only 6:30 PM All the patrons were friends of the bartender because the bartender was hanging out with them, laughing and being loud. I ordered burger to go because I just moved in downtown. Come to find out their food their burgers everything is microwave. When I got my burger, it was extremely cold was not melted and I just took it home and cooked it on my grill. Thank you for making me $$14 on a bacon cheeseburger that I have to cook properly

Bar tender was hangry and refused to serve me after my first beer. Said I was being rude for asking him for another beer. Great way to treat paying customers.

Took a while to get drinks . They were a bit spendy but they do a heavy pour so all worth it. They have a good variety of people. From downtown lawyers to judges to a LGBTQ to straight couples all having good discussions ,some amongst themselves and some inviting others. Plus a decent amount of singles to please the other singles. They make a great alchole green tea, and nice pour on vodka redbull plus their draft beer is refreshing.
Vegetarian options: Not many. But the onion rings, and tots are great. Plus you can get popcorn on hand.
