Best Cali roll in town. They have amazing food, decent prices for sushi in the area, more variety than other places, and super friendly staff. Hard to ask for anything more. My only gripes are the small size of the location (it is still quite nice) and it's somewhat difficult to find the menu online (Google Maps seems the best). I highly recommend checking it out if you love sushi or wanna try some other Japanese food you can't find in Salem.

Manna Japanese Comfort Food is the definition of a hidden gem. It has easily become my favorite Japanese restaurant in Salem. The food is high quality, the portions are large and the prices are great. I typically get the sushi burrito, but lately we have been trying new things. The poke bowls are delicious but the sushi burrito is still my fav. The owners are very nice people and the service is always great. Highly recommend!!

We really enjoyed this little gem of a restaurant. There’s limited seating, but they were pretty empty when we visited. We ordered the special with soup and tempura shrimp, tonkatsu and Takoyaki. Everything was good. The curry was especially good. It was thick and had a fantastic depth of flavor. The pork cutlet was also thick, much thicker than I’ve seen in any other local restaurants. The soup was delicious, and the octopus balls were creamy and crispy. I would definitely visit this restaurant again, and possibly take my friends there. My only complaint was the very loud religious music playing in the background. The lady who rang us up and brought our food, was very friendly and the restaurant was clean.

Manna has wonderful people, delicious food, and at a fair price. Support your local small businesses! Especially ones like this that service customers the right way.

I’ve been having a hard time finding a good sushi place in Salem and this one was so good! Reasonable prices everything tasted so fresh. My only complaint was the size of the pieces were quite large and it was hard to eat it in one bite.

Cute place that exceeded my expectations. Loved the atmosphere in here, the place was busy on a Friday night but still held a cozy feeling. The service was very accommodating, great hospitality and the food was simply amazing, biggest sushi rolls I've ever encountered without sacrificing any quality or flavor.

Gf bragged hard about this place, and it was legit. Food was a thing of art. The chef was a champion. The server was a master of her craft and read the vibe and delivered so. Will be using the punch card they gave in the future.

Very pleasantly surprised by how good this restaurant is! Haven't eaten here since it was Ramen Ichiban and therefore had high expectations of the food and service and was not disappointed. We were warmly greeted. The decor is cosy, clean and comfortable, and the food is superb! We ordered garlic edamame, gyoza, the Ocean sushi roll, and the chicken Katsanen(sp?) plus the citrus lime mojito ( non alcoholic) ...which Id gladly order by the pitcher, it was so good! The edamame were flavorful and perfectly cooked, the gyoza were crispy and tasty, and the portion sizes were generous. The ocean sushi roll is enormous!.. easily enough for 2 and is crunchy, crabby, shrimpy and utterly delicious. The chicken was crisp and juicy and served with a lovely spicy sauce. The miso soup and cabbage slaw accompaniments were perfect too.Food (and service) is definitely worthy of 5*!!!!

This is such a cute small restaurant I would've never found had my special human not mention it. I don't frequent Salem at all and I never knew there could be such a great place in Salem. I always considered a lonely city with nothing going for them, but I was wrong; starting with this place. The restaurant looks like it's ran by a small family and there were only a few workers there that I noticed. Very friendly staff and extremely kind to all the guests around us.Ordered some traditional Takoyaki, which was as yummy as expected. Main course were Seared Talapia, Chicken Katsu with some California rolls. The meal looks small, but it was much bigger and filling than expected. My Talapia dish was SO delicious... I would come back to order this anytime.

First time here. Ordered a Twins big roll and hubby had a Bento box. Roll was tasty, but a bit difficult to eat as the pieces were too large for my liking. Could not finish it. Bento box was a lot of food and tasty as well. Next time I'll see if I can order a regular sized roll. Recommend checking hours before going as they take a several hours break between lunch and dinner.
