love thus place but as we go more we are running into closed doors more and more often, especially on Sunday nights. unannounced closures are never convenient especially after the drive from our home in the next county. pulling up and seeing an open sign in the window before walking up the ramp only to find another unannounced closure, well thats just inconsiderate. At least we are finding other good places to eat when forced to. Call first!

I believe it’s under new management. The last one was great. This one’s can be great. It’ll get there. I’m sure the food is great. The service is excellent. In my opinion, give me a shot. You’ll be happy.

I love Marco Polo. I was very friendly with the original owners and spent many happy times with friends and family over the years. There are so many vegan options it can be hard to choose. I personally love the garlic green beans, General Tso’s Tofu, and black bean mixed vegetables. I love mushrooms so I almost always get an appetizer that has them, they are always perfectly crisp and delicious. They have a fair selection of cocktails as well, always very nicely prepared. Staff have always been wonderful, have never had a bad experience. If you are in Salem or close by, definitely give them a visit.

Used to be a very good restaurant and reasonably priced. Recently, they have raised their prices on food around $2 per main meal. They offer the same quality of food as before and the same dishes. They have the same interior design etc. just FYI if you plan on going.

Has a large selection of interesting food. Good tastes as well.

One disadvantage is that it has several different printed menus (4 I think) and unless you ask you won't know about all that they offer. I asked for them all and it was interesting to see all the differences.

Separate vegetarian menu was the most interesting to us (spouse is).

We had a nice table. It wasn't busy. Food was, well, meh, and spendy.

It's okay. Given what they do the food is good, varied, and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is a bit bleak. Over numerous visits the service has been middle of the road depending on the server.

Amazing experience! We loved the vegan and non-vegan Chinese options. The spring rolls were 10/10! Someone in our party got the fish and chips and said it was as good as the Oregon Coast which is impressive. We will definitely be back.

We went for a birthday celebration. We didn't have to wait to be seated. I got their General Tso's Chicken plate with white rice. The chicken was juicy and fresh. Also, I was able to try their Beef Pad Thai. It was delicious. Great atmosphere and customer service.

We had a big crowd, and everyone was able to order something delicious from all parts of the globe. Always good food.

I’m a regular customer; took my wife there yesterday for Mother’s Day. I ordered the $30 rib eye steak meal ; the “steak” was a thin piece of meat that resembled a mix between a flank steak and hamburger… 1/3 was a hunk of gristly fat - disgusting !! I small slop of lukewarm potatoes and undercooked veges completed the worst meal I d eaten in a restaurant for a long long time 😡👎
