I’ve been coming here about once or twice a week for over a month and usually enjoy the food and experience. However, during my last visit I had a really unpleasant experience with one of the staff members, probably the owner.
Every previous time I’ve come in, I was told by staff to grab my own drink from the fridge (including beer) and they would add it to my tab. This time, when I did exactly that, the employee came up and scolded me in front of others, told me I wasn’t allowed to do that, and demanded my ID even though I’m 45 yrs old. It was embarrassing and unnecessary.
If alcohol shouldn’t be self-serve, that’s completely understandable — but there should be clear signage or consistent communication among staff. It’s frustrating to be told one thing for weeks and then treated like I did something wrong the next.
I completely understand there are laws, regulations, etc. around serving alcohol. Obviously there was some miscommunication along the way in this situation but the way it was handled and how embarrassing it was to be scolded in front of everyone in the restaurant, its safe to say I will no longer be coming back.

Really good sushi options. I’m not a raw sushi eater, but they had something called a wolf bite. That was excellent. The service was good sometimes it was hard to track down a server and the atmosphere was a tad lacking. I think it was just because it was so cold in there. We had to order tea to warm up, but overall it was enjoyable food.

I get these coupons in the mail all the time. This is the first time I've ordered from here even though it's a Japanese chain. We had Jackie soba crush chicken and teriyaki chicken miso soup and a California roll their food. I found to be very very good. And I'm going to continue to go there and use up all my coupons until more of them show up in the mail.

The food was bland and horrible. Never will I order food from here. I ordered chicken teriyaki and the chicken did not taste good at all. Also the chicken yakisoba I had ordered was the worst yakisoba I had ever ate.

It's just a little place. I bet the vast majority of their businesses take out. But my son and I love to go there and eat.

Best sushi in the city! Way better than momijis or any other sushi place. Service and food has always been perfect. Strongly suggest giving the place a try at the very least.

Great for a carry out lunch; not so great for date night. It's mainly just the ambiance. The location is more workaday compared to the other locations but the food is the same great momiji sushi. Service is good and friendly, the place is clean. No complaints.

After going to the Silverton road location for over a decade, I am so happy to have this location as an option too! The food and service are stellar every time.

The staff was rude, impolite. I showed my phone with the order details. The employee started poking at the screen of my phone without my permission. I did not receive any explanation for this behavior. Very rude. Disrespectful.

Parking: It's a big lot. Spaces close by should not be difficult to find
