Offbeat Cafe is so cozy, and it's got plenty of space to sit and work on something or to just chill with some coffee. Their pastries are unique and tasty, and they've got a nice selection of seasonal and interesting drinks! Also, free bubbly water! They also have their own (small) parking lot, but there are lots of other places to park as well. 10/10 my favorite coffee shop in Salem!

Offbeat coffee is amazing and so nostalgic it's insane, I love the atmosphere, I love the people, I love the coffee and food, I love the old records you can flip through which bring back so many memories. The caramel candies are off the hook good and the pastries are unique and delicious, Support this establishment and be a good person.

Come for the coffee stay for the vibe. The aesthetics are beautiful, welcoming and soul enriching. This spot just speaks to me. I'm sure you will feel the same. My cold brew was delightful, but I was mesmerized by the atmosphere. Spent 2.5 hours talking to a friend like it was the blink of an eye. This vinyl record collection makes me swoon. You want to listen? Of course you can, try out one of the personal listening stations. Even if you don't need to use the restroom, the bathroom is a must see. Bravo Off Beat, bravo.

No food. Service was odd, I was going to get take out but still handed a number and told to sit when I had to run and use the restroom.
Restroom had no soap and heater was busted.
I get that it is well painted, but doesn't mean they can just be rude and not stock basic sanitary things like soap and paper towels.
I don’t often give a 5 star review on my first visit to a place but I am so impressed with the atmosphere, the vibe, and the small things like they have free bubble water available at their self serve water station. My wife got an oat milk latte and I got a chai tea latte and both were amazing. Comfortable seating and centrally located in salem. It’s my new go to coffee stop.

Super cute spot, but WOW I just had one of the worst lattes I’ve had in awhile. Spent my entire lunch break driving there (was excited to try out a fall special drink on Halloween for a special treat!!) and tried it once I got back to my car, not good at all. I usually love lattes of that nature, I got the Smooth Criminal, but wow I should have stuck with my gut and tried out Isaac’s downtown, as they have a very popular similar one. I did not even bring my drink into work with me. Left it wasted in my car, could not bring myself to drink it. Such a waste of $6.50.
