I have a pretty severe mushroom allergy and always request clean cut, but today found a few mushrooms in my box again. Didn’t check for this at the store when I picked up the pizza, so had to drive 20 minutes back to get my pizza remade and ACTUALLY clean cut. This isn’t the first time that it’s happened so I’m not sure why they have “clean cut” as an option if not to follow it when requested.
I often have issues with quality and/or mushrooms, which comes with the territory anyways with an allergy. I just feel like it’s been a lot more frequent in recent months.
I want to love this Papa John’s because it’s the only one nearby, and usually the people behind the counter are kind, but it seems like every time we go here there’s a new issue. While they’ll usually remake with no complaints, it’s frustrating to have this happen every single time. We just want a correct pizza.
TLDR; When the food is correct, it’s usually pretty good. I would just advise to make sure you’re fully checking your order for accuracy, quality, and especially if you have any kind of allergy or special request.

Ordered GrubHub- a thing of the Cinnabites pull apart and a thing of garlic bites.
It took nearly 1.5 hours to get here. No joke, I placed it and they said they were making it at 11:08 and I didn’t get it delivered until 12:30am. For 2 easy things- best part was it was gross.
The bread was so stale in the cinnabites and the garlic bread wasn’t much better, hard as a rock
I hate splurging on 3rd party delivery apps but felt confident doing so for Papa John’s. Safe to say I was disappointed

I just found out from my last order they don't deliver anymore.. it's Doordash that delivers. Will never order from them again. If you don't deliver.... make that clear!!!

The employees they hire to deliver their pizza are unkempt, rude, and complain loudly and obnoxiously the entire time. Standards as a delivery driver have declined massively and they should be ashamed of who they employ

Idk what happened? But papa johns is not the same as it was 10 years ago. The wings I ordered we're good. However, that new york style pizza is not what I thought I was ordering, I think I'm going to MOD Pizza next time!

They have been delivering their pizzas using doordash. If I wanted to doordash food I would've. I don't like having a third party with no accountability to the restaurant delivering the food.
Mediocre pizza at best, terrible online ordering. Wouldn't take my card last three times trying to order. Never again.

The staff here are awesome! So friendly, attentive. They really demonstrate what customer service is all about, even when they are super busy and overwhelmed they don't miss a beat on service with a smile. Very refreshing culture in today's environment.
