Simply excellent even when short staffed. Though it took longer than I thought it should. Family had pumpkin waffle, scrambled eggs, pancake biscuits and gravy hashbrowns and german sausage. All were excellent but the star of the show was the pumpkin waffle that was the perfect balance of not too pumpkin spicy and not too little. Sooo goood!

It's a very small diner, but worth the wait if you don't want to sit on one of the stools at the counter. Pumpkin waffle special was so light and delicious. Hash browns ordered extra crispy and they were perfect! We will be back!

Ritz Diner is a very comfy, very small old-school diner. I had just come from a weekend at Silver Falls and was ready for a hot meal.The waitress was very welcoming and cheerful, and seemed to know everyone by name. Though very much a locals spot, I was treated with the same energy as the regulars.Fairly typical American style breakfast and lunch fare. I had the Corned Beef Hash and it was excellent!Overall I enjoyed the "back-in-the-day" atmosphere, friendliness, and the food was perfect, especially after a few days in the snow cooking off a camp fire. I'll certainly return next time I'm over night at Silver Falls or Salem.
