ADORABLE AND FABULOUS ONION RINGS AND HOSPITALITY! Cute and welcoming. View is serene and gorgeous. Food came out fast, the onion rings were Huge and the best I have ever had. Carmen the waitress/bartender was friendly and very welcoming. Place is not the best on decor and could use some freshing up but it is clean. I found out the owner is selling the building and they will close soon. How sad it's really so adorable and has much potential . I loved it myself and will be going back again soon!!

Rock-N-Rogers...go f*** yourself. So here's the story me and my girlfriend have been dating for 6 months and every time i drove her home for the past 6 months we always said we need to go there. Well here we are 6 months later we decided to go and get some breakfast. The eggs were great. That's the only good thing I could say about this place, the service was terrible, the burgers which claim to be beat burger in Salem for the past 8 years We're just hard as a rock and the cheese was super crunchy... Best burger my A*** As for my girlfriend she got the breakfast burrito and potato's the sausage in the burrito was also hard as a rock, her potato's no seasoning, super burnt and crunchy and salt and pepper did nothing for them. And on her last few bites of her burrito she found a sunflower kernel probably from the chef fuckin around in the back. So safe to say will be coming back thanks for ruining our view of such an "amazing restaurant" if you want my advice before going to an unknown restaurant check the reviews

The view is very relaxing. Watching the traffic on the river is fun. Fish and chips were good, but they were out of coleslaw to go with it and didn't seem to concerned about it. They could use a good manager to enhance the dining area.

if you are missing the feel of a classic diner this is where you want to be. I particularly like the milkshakes!

We visited on a Wednesday evening and the experience was negative from the beginning. When we walked in the door the hostess told us to get our own menus and that there was a banquet in the back. The sign at the door says “please wait to be seatedâ€, so that was unexpected. We ordered, and the waitress came back out to tell us they were out of potatoes(?) and when we picked another option we were told that wasn't available either. In our 45+ min of waiting for our food we ended up watching the banquet members come out and ask, multiple times, for more water and iced tea, as well as return their food for not being the right order. I don't think the wait staff realized that everything they said in the kitchen could be heard by guests, because their topics of conversation were not customer friendly. There were only 6 people in the restaurant who weren't part of the banquet. Finally, we just left money for our drinks and left. I was looking forward to trying their food but I do not think we'll be back.

I have never left a review before but after giving this place multiple chances, I feel compelled to warn others. Tonight we waited nearly an hour for 3 burgers and chicken strips. The chicken actually came out later... one of our burgers was completely wrong. If I could give negative stars I would. I told the waitress that I'd eat the burger "as is" for fear we'd never see her again!!! There were about 4 other tables there. We have experienced this almost every time we've been here. It's sad because it's a great location. There is a total breakdown of staffing and management. People were coming in from the bar angry too. We won't be back.
Great atmosphere! Great service! Good food! I wished I had tipped our wonderful waitress more after we left! The Jameson's and black coffee was PERFECT!

This is a beautiful setting overlooking the river..former steakhouse that was turned diner: enjoy the view just don't expect much more for food or service. Bar is cool.

I give 3 starts because 1 meal out of 5 was basically wrong. The 4 people ordered burgers which were spot on. However ordered the Malibu chicken special the chicken was very small & thin it was also supposed to come with bacon on the meal which it did not they also forgot my salad which also came with my meal which cost $14.99. I would understand if they were busy however that was not the case there was only 3 other tables at the time.
