Right now if u go to the Safeway on Lancaster and silverton a region manager from arizona will be doing a walk through but they have all the shelf’s stock up , bakery, hot food already!! And brought over extra employees from other stores to help … so go now lol the lies the stores do cause this store never is ever stocked up !!!

Since moving up from New Mexico, I've missed the Bluebird Flour for frybread and Bueno Red/Green Chile. After talking with the right folks, Octavio the marketing/promotional manager for the northwest region has really help us Diné folks that have sacrifice moving out from our comfort state. Management, and staff listen to their customers, its the listening that helps make Safeway grow. New Mexico is the chile capital of the USA, introducing products not only help us Native Americans, it also bring revenues to stores like Safeway. A big thank you for making this possible. We bought $21 worth of pork chops today, and instantly upon opening the package got a god-awful rancid smell. The meat was also discolored. It had a sell by date of today.
They refuse to give us our money back. We can't bring it back due to the Corona virus, but they can't refund our money because they can't verify it because we can't bring it back.
THANKS FOR WASTING OUR MONEY!!!!

This particular store is awful. I live less then a mile from them and used to go a bit since it was near. About 4 or 5 months ago I witnessed a deli employee running ragged as his co worker was complaining she needed his help outside with her bbq. He had to asked "Really? I have customers in here and I can't help you. You can help me if you want then I can help you but if not go find someone else." She excepted him to drop everything to help her and ignore the customers.

Today I waited over half an hour at the customer service desk just to buy a bus pass. One lady helping the constant stream of people. She wouldn't ask for more help. I thought it was their motto that three is a crowd and they would get more help. Never have I seen them get more cashiers or ask for help at this location.
I had hoped this visit would improve my outlook on the store. It has not. I advise people to visit the other locations because not only is the service here slow, but they don't seem to be willing to help each other out. It was frustrating that they see they have lines, and making it difficult for others to leave, and they don't fix the issue. THEIR issue that they pass onto the customer.

This Safeway always has long lines and never enough staff to help everyone. If you need to make a quick stop, expect it to take 30 min or more.
