Came across this bar whilst on a short stay in Salem. Great selection of beers on tap & attentive staff. We shared a pizza & seasoned fries & have to give a special mention to the great fries. We would have returned for our last night if it wasn't for the weather & walk down from La Quinta (25mins walk).
Great tap list with a big range of beers brewed by them, ciders and other things on tap. Mixed drink options. Good pub style food.
I've been here a few times but not recently as I live out of town. I seem to recall this was a taproom, not a brewery last time I visited, but maybe I'm wrong.
I went in today with a friend who lives in Salem. The place was pretty much dead, which is fine, that means I get all the attention. Bartender was a friendly young lady, probably in her 20s. She provided very good service, took our orders, regularly checked on us, and was willing to give plenty of samples.
It must have been 80s day because that's all we heard. That was nice because we are both Gen X.
The taproom was clean, no dirty dishes laying around, and all staff was clearly visible working.
We both had burgers and a couple beers. The burgers were okay, nothing spectacular, but I would order them again. Beer quality was fair, not the best or worst. Everything I tried seemed a little bland but no off flavors or infections. That is good because another local brewery I went to had some infected taps, when I complained, I was ignored.
They have 30+ taps, which is a nice selection, the food menu isn't huge, but has plenty of salads and burgers.
I look a quick peek at the brewhouse, being that I'm a homebrewer and worked in a commercial brewery once. It was clean, organized, and well laid out. I figure most people won't care, but as a brewer, that is very important to me.
Overall, it was a good experience. I will likely return next time I go to Salem.
We are huge brewery people and know our beer, and Sparky’s was recommended for us by a friend when we were traveling for our son’s basketball over the holidays. This place did not disappoint. We actually came here for lunch and dinner in one day. Great food and beer. Atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were excellent. I’d recommend to anyone and come here again.
Great staff and service, but the food wasn't the greatest. $25 for a burger, fries and beer. The beer was good, burger was burned on one side and the fries were greasy. Would have been fine for less money but I expect more from a place that charges this much. Again staff was fantastic, but won't go back due to prices and food quality.
Didn't like it, at all. First they charge you for using a creditcard? (Never heard that one before) Then they add $1 to the listprice of every beer as shown and claim it's a computer error but refuse to do anything about it. My advise. Stay away or check the prices they charge you otherwise you could be in for a nasty surprise when you get your bill.
Good beer, excellent food, friendly atmosphere. Trivia Tuesday is always a good time.
Great beer and food, cool vibe overall.
We had brandy bacon bbq burgers and brews everything was wonderful. Cute pub, great service.
No physical beer menu and they don't actually serve you, you have to go stand in line at the bar and order at the counter. Food and beer is okay, not great.

Fantastic beer and high quality pub food. Stopped here fortuitously on I-5 drive through Oregon. What a lucky surprise! Big menu of in-house beer. Imperial IPA will knock your socks off. Loved the seared tuna burger and sweet potato fries. Picante dipping sauces! Must try this place! Artisans at work.
Great food the wings and burgers ? ? ⚡️ ?
Amazing costumer service, food was amazing. 100% Recommended.
Beer is okay (I'm a beer nerd and home brewer). I've never been impressed. The food is meh- passable for bar food, but never craveable. My chicken strips were a little under done last time. But, the regressive politics of the owners are what made me walk away forever. They had a sign for the candidate who they are supporting for mayor of Salem (the candidate who already raised 6-figures from developers for an unpaid position!) at the bar and I was deeply disappointed. A colleague told me this week they had a platform for the right-wing county candidates as well. My partner and I go for walks and bike rides to this area for the breweries, but this one is now crossed off the list. Ah well.
Great food and Service!
