This seemed like the only friendly place in Salem center...employees were super friendly and genuinely happy .... just lift you right up and you’re only ordering a cup of coffee...truly amazing!!! Great staff is a rarity these days, hold onto them!!

Knew everyone there on Liberty and Court St. on both sides of counter, I have so known and met hundreds of people coming and going since 2006 Best wishes and love wishes extended outward to Olivia, Stephanie, Emily... Management team who have worked at STARBUCKS Liberty/Court St.... Best wishes in their new jobs as they transition into other Starbucks in the Salem. Polk County areas. ????

Worst Starbucks experience in Salem. I came in for a coffee in the afternoon and the workers are UTTERLY RUDE. I will never be stepping foot in this establishment. The girls are very unproffesional and unwelcoming. It saddens me that most of the younger generation does not get the proper training of how to act when being on the clock. They kept making vulgar comments and jokes about the people walking in or outside. It's downtown salem, people are all different!!! The service was ridiculous as they just stand there while they talk to each other and not welcome you or get your order promptly. Unfortunately experience always matters. Due to my bad experience I feel as if I absolutely did not enjoy my coffee. I hope Starbucks learns to properly train staff on professionalism and basic customer service skills.
