We regularly drive 30 minutes to salem just to get their yakasoba and teriyaki. It's worth it 100%

I cant order online. Theres option for what i want. Theres no way to order it. I do however know that its something that they do because when i go in to eat i have no trouble ordering. My frustration isnt with the food at all its just that im not able to order what i want unless i go in
I ordered from grub hub and my food came in a plastic bag that had no tamper proof sticker or anything. I was supposed to have vegetables with my chicken but there are only two tiny pieces of broccoli. Also my chicken is almost all completely burnt. I was so excited to try this place. What a disappointment. Total shame, they could have had 2 frequent long term customers. 👎🏻

We waited 45 minutes for our order. The bulk of the vegetables in my curry was potatoes. Not sure that rice and potatoes go well together. The curry itself has good flavor but I would have liked a better variety
of vegetables.
The lady at the counter was very nice.

Pretty mediocre teriyaki place though the prices are fairly cheap and you get hot food surprisingly quickly. The food leaves a lot to be desired though if you're hungry, it's not bad at all. Service isn't the nicest but hey, they are fast. The restaurant is adequately clean and simple. Not a place I'd stop by again, but it suits its purpose for a fast and filling meal.

Please don't miss out on this food, You should definitely try this place! Best takeout! It has such good food, been here several times & the food is always amazing!
I've noticed over time that the best food often comes from tiny family type places like these, It's small but the people are super kind, I had been here to use the ATM and it smelled so good! So we got takeout for dinner- chicken yakisoba & the beef bowl with yakisoba instead of rice, it was SOO delicious! Best teriyaki sauce I've ever tasted, & they make their own sauce!! You don't really NEED extra sauce tho, or even salt, because its just so good even without anything extra, but I really like their sauce so much, so I add more :-)
At first I thought it seemed a little expensive, $14 per person for yakisoba chicken, but it has huge portions, tons of noodles with some veggies & Big serving of meat on top-(perfectly crisp, juicy meat!) & a ball of white rice in the corner. So you definitely get your money's worth! Also the bowls are a little less $ I think, but even the bowl was worth the money. First I thought a beef bowl may not be enough food to get full, because bowls usually are smaller, but their bowls aren't small! it was wide & deep & full of rice or noodles, with plenty of meat on top! So the bowls are good filling meal too!
You really get the feel that it's a family owned type restaurant because they have their family with them in their own part of the restaurant,, I believe its the grandmother and their daughter that hang out in their own partitioned section, while the parents work in the kitchen and counter, & when it's not busy you often see them having their own family dinners there in a booth together, eating food that they made in the restaurant.. I think it's awesome they all still eat dinner together, while working full days in the restaurant. So this is a REAL family restaurant,, so i really like the family atmosphere because it makes me feel like they're going to make the same good quality food for me, that they make for themselves & their family, & I like that. :)
I always get takeout from here, but I would eat here on a lunch break or for a quick bite.. But I noticed some have left lame reviews about the small dining environment & said don't eat here because of it, but if you don't like the restaurant aesthetics, just get takeout! THEIR FOOD IS SO WORTH IT!! "Teriyaki Bento is The Best Teriyaki Takeout in Town!"
Now yes, it is a very tiny, restaurant with many people coming & going for takeout, so I wouldn't have a romantic date here or anything, its just more of a quick In-&-Out, takeout kinda place. So the main attraction here is all about the food! Just really GREAT takeout, with a few small booths if you wanted to sit, or to eat right away.. SO DONT LISTEN to the very few, lame reviews, that say not to eat here just because of the restaurant environment, if u do, YOU WILL MISS OUT ON THE BEST TERIYAKI TAKEOUT IN TOWN- TERIYAKI BENTO!
They also have takoyaki like on the Anime I always watch, lol- I believe they are battered fried shaped balls with chopped octopus and other seasonings,, I'm excited to try it sometime but a little nervous about octopus lol, that's a personal preference though lol.
On a side note- I am weird about meat quality in restaurants, like if it's got weird bits that arent solid cut meat, then it yuks me out.. One place that uses weird meat is The Paanda Xpress- its chicken always has weird jointed pieces with lots of connective parts & or squishiness.. So I don't eat at places like that anymore.. And now I'm just wary & weird about meats...
** TERIYAKI BENTO HAS GREAT MEAT! YESS! :) There was NOT EVEN ONE WIERD PIECE that I had to put off to the side, (like I usually end up doing with meat dishes from other places.) They're meat & noodles w

My recent visit to Teriyaki Bento left me utterly disappointed, and I'm perplexed as to why this restaurant maintains a 4.3-star rating. From the moment my friends and I stepped in, warning signs emerged, starting with an unexpected cover charge for credit card transactions. The setup is unconventional; it's an order-first, then sit-down establishment. Although greeted upon arrival, the lobby felt cramped and uncomfortable. The menu seemed promising enough, so we decided to give it a chance. However, the condition of the seating area was appalling. Out of the four available tables, only half were usable. The one we settled at was dirty, with remnants of the previous diners still present. The unmistakable stench emanating from an overflowing trash bin in plain sight further tainted the ambiance. To add insult to injury, the food arrived on disposable plates and trays, lacking any semblance of presentation. The decor was uninspiring, with unsightly boxes of takeaway containers cluttering the space. The restroom was a nightmare to access, obstructed by random kitchen equipment. The establishment also boasts a video lottery room, but it was equally unkempt and dimly lit. However, the most alarming discovery was the presence of a young girl, seemingly living on the premises, roaming around without adequate supervision or attire. In summary, Teriyaki Bento falls short on numerous fronts—hygiene, ambiance, service, and ethics. It's disheartening to witness such neglect in a dining establishment. I cannot recommend this place to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience.
