This place is great for a lunch, I bought the red curry, and my friends there was hardly any soup because of how much meat and veggies are in it. That's the main thing I always find myself missing with curry, it's just all water, this place really does it up, I would like more rice, so I'd suggest maybe asking for an extra side, but all in all it's amazing, I'm a big fat guy and I couldn't finish one if that says anything. The place does exactly what you want, gives you good food, it doesn't need to be any more than that.

The restaurant was busy last night, but our server quickly got our food out to us. We tried the #56 Pad See Ew ( see menu). The noodles tasted sweet. Great flavor. The #37 green curry hit the spot for a depth of flavor. The pork fried rice and shrimp fried rice also were flavorful along with the Tom Kha soup #12. We have only visited a few other Thai restaurants in the greater Salem area that match Thai Beer. What do you all think of this place?

I stopped in here for lunch on a Wednesday. There were 2 other tables with customers, so not very busy. They bring out soup after being seated which is really nice. The soup had great flavor and a lot of tofu, it was just barely warm, almost cold. We ordered salt and pepper chicken, crab puffs and chicken pad thai. The crab puffs were ok, also not very hot and the middle was runny. The salt and pepper chicken was really crispy and had great flavor. Some of the pieces were too hard and inedible, but not a deal breaker. The pad thai was terrible. When it came out both my cousin and I said why is it so red? It looks weird. It tasted weirder. The chicken was bland and over cooked. The sauce tasted like ketchup with extra sugar added to it. There were also no peanuts or lime with it. I have never had pad thai like that so maybe that's their version, and if so I'm sorry but I did not like it at all.

Thirty minutes before closing and we walked in and immediately with an attitude "Can I help you guys?" And we asked if we could get a table and he said "are guys going to hurry?" It claims to close at 9 but doesn't want to seat anyone by 8:30.
Worst customer service ! Younger kid was rude when telling us they close in 30 minutes and then when asked if we can be seated he said we’ll can you guys hurry in a rude way , first time that I was going to try this place , won’t be

Update: not sure how it happened but we just got the most bland Thai food I’ve ever had. Boiled beef with no flavor and watered down dishes. Shockingly tastless.One of our frequent places to dine. We love the food and its usually never busy. Reasonably priced as well.

Pad thai was horrible, just bland and tasteless. Offered a refund on one of two entrees purchased only. Ordered to go and the noodles were congealed in the shape of the to go container. After driving all day we had just returned to our hotel room we were not going to return that evening for refund. Was told they would not offer refund the next day? Don't waste your time unless you value price over quality food and service.

Very standard Thai fare. Just passing through Salem and wouldn't expect much more than what I got, placenis empty at 7:00 on a Friday night but plenty of to go orders coming in and out.We got the seafood soup and a pad Thai. Nothing special in either direction. It was fine. Nice kid server though.

I oredered 3 of your #52's today asked for extra vegetables 2$ per plate that's three we ordered didn't get that but got 3 extra sticky race's that were very dried out and hard and the meat was so dry it was enough to choke on your food has taken a drastic change since I started eating there back in 2005 and not for the good I use to brag to everyone about how good the food is there after this I will no longer be telling people about your place of business and that's sad because like I said your restaurant was my favorite place to go and the lady answering the phone and giving people their order's is very rude
