This place sucks!! They are 100% closed down and did so without a notice to their employees except for an hour or so BEFORE they were supposed to show up and open the store. They have been permanently closed for almost a month now but still have there hours up online saying they are open and a little sign saying cloes u til further notice when they are in fact permanently close and are going on 20+ days of NOT paying their employees their last pay checks that were supposed to be given on 10/15/24 but can, will and DID OPEN 2 NEW restaurants and says to hell with their former employees. They made sure to get everything out of the building though but still have NOT paid their employees

Doing this as a former employee we were all let go without notice since the salem location has been permanently closed not only they closed every employee that was on staff never got their last paycheck including me an everyones last day was on oct. 13th an its november now and everyone i worked with asked me if i got my check i said no so we are all beyond pissed for them keeping our money instead of opening newer stores they should pay backk all the employees that suffered at the salem location we dont care if they have to pay us all out of pockets!!!!

This place isn't staying in business. Half the time nobody answers the drive thru, other half it takes 10 minutes when they have no customers. It will be another 20 minutes to get your food. You can no longer get the value menu items even though they're still on drive thru menu. Using a speaker from the 1950s. Sounds like I'm speaking to Vault 76.

The Chicken Shanty is not just a place with great food, but great customer service!! One of my absolute favorite people there is Decklyn! He always greets us with the best smile and is very attentive to our needs! If we have any questions, he answers them with a positive attitude! Fly’s everywhere in the back of the restaurant I’ve personally seen them land on food and when they kill them the flys just land wherever and they don’t clean it, they also don’t pay the employees on time. I’ve worked here it’s terrible :)
I wasn't impressed in the slightest. Best part was the strawberry lemonade. Fries soggy and kinda cold. Coconut chicken strips were burnt and dry AF. Will not go back nor recommend. Staff was super nice.

The only reason I dropped a star is because the soda machine was partially broken (two drinks unavailable, including Pepsi) and the pineapple cake was kind of bland. Will definitely be back, though.
