First time I've visited since the remodel! I used to be a regular. Never had such horrible service. Bartender didn't know how to pour drinks, ignored most customers, took 30 minutes to get me a menu when the bar was near empty. Gone all the way downhill when it used to be my favorite dive. Steer clear.
Love absolutely everyone here, even security! Fav place in Salem
This is your standard bar. It has its good nights and its bad. Service can be very hit and miss. Same goes for the crowd. Over the course of the evening the crowd demographics change pretty wildly, so you might have to find the window for you. They just went through a remodel and the food isn’t half bad. On a popular evening the parking lot is packed. Many people go park at the adult store next door. This place can get packed on a Friday or Saturday.
My annoying coworker says her boyfriend got jumped here. Five stars.
Still a fantastic bar great drinks great bar tenders nice place clean didn't need to wait to long.
Excellent staff, service & food!.
They need new lines for their taps or a new CO2 system. On tap beer here is gross and flat.
Unfortunately Destany's review of this place is just Salem. Bar tenders don't give a shit about you - ever. They never want the cops called even if you're assaulted. I got sucker punched at Big Blue diamond and they pretty much just helped me leave. Not a fan of Salem.
This place was excellent, literally the best security I’ve seen at any nightlife establishment, they were looking out for everybody and helping out and it was just cool to experience that. Jackson and Johnny made us feel comfortable and safe and they went above and beyond helping the bar staff. The bar staff was also excellent, great atmosphere, five out of five stars, would highly recommend. Check this spot out.

Nice, typical little tavern. Liked the patio outside, and loved all the pink that the building had to offer.
If you expect to eat here, you won't, probably. We saw reviews stating there's food here, it says there's food on Google, but when we asked for a menu or list, they (kind of rudely) said the food is at the food truck outside.... which is Birria PDX lol. Drunk people want bar food, not good Mexican food. Lol!

The Pink Elephant has been around a long while, and the mixed crowd shows it. Inside it reads like a traditional sports bar; outside, it's an eclectic fairy-lit comfortable patio with a homey feel. I love this bar dearly and used to go a lot when I worked in the area. The bartenders are friendly and welcoming and the patrons mostly keep to themselves. It's wonderful to come in and enjoy people-watching here.

Not the first time I've been here and never really get friendly service either way I came in with a few friends for drinks and nachos, the bartender served me a drink with a fly in it, which I don't understand how you wouldn't notice a fly in the glass in the first place but then when I complained we were asked to leave instead of appologizing. Will NEVER go back!! After the whole incident looking back I feel like it was intentional, the bartender was already frustrated because she did'nt want to make the nachos in the first place because She still tried to charge us for the drink with thy fly in it.

The nachos were unlike any id ever had. Ever.
They were served on a bed of "nacho cheese flavored" Doritos,
I never buy, or eat them. Why? Bc I don't like them. Had I known, id not have ordered them.
Just a simple tortilla chip works fine.
The cheese was something else.
A processed, cheese of some sort, not grated, but a squirted on liquid. There were a ton of jalapenos not on the side, but on the nachos. Too many for my liking.
I should've ordered the French dip, my first choice except it had no fries just chips. Doritos nacho cheese chips!
It cost $17, ($20 with tip) and I was not impressed.
The plants out back are nice, tho!

Terrible place to be. Too many fights and the bartenders are rude
My friend got jumped by multiple people & instead of taking care of the people who started the altercation they kicked out the people being jumped then allowed the instigators to stay. Super unprofessional and not a good environment at all I’d stay away if you’re looking for a good bar.
