Best place to get a little buzzy with your homies. I definitely get the vibe that this place is lgbtqia+friendly. The Jell-O shots are boozy! Tacos are crunchy, or soft, depending on your preference. Lots of eligible hott single dudes on Tuesday nights for trivia. But not Thursdays. Just Tuesdays for hot guys. And tacos. And Sarah the most attentive and friendly and caring bartender a real badass with great taste in music. Witty! A true gem. Love this place! My Tuesday family. I should probably start coming on other nights too.

I’ve lived in Salem for a bit but never visited the shack until this past year.
Really nice people. A home like feel. Have had copious amounts of great conversations. The bartenders have all been very nice and thoughtful.
I’ve had many adventures in exploring different drinks made by different bartenders there. Emma, Michaela and Sarah have all introduced me to drinks they’ve made that were pretty perfect to what I hoped I would have when talking about my preferred taste.
Overall, a great place to meet up with a few friends. Meet interesting new friends and play pool while you’re out.

If you are a member of lgbtqia please do not come to this bar because apparently patrons calling you slurs while cursing in your face playing pool isnt enough for the Staff to interveine nor enough to make sure that those patrons dont follow you out to your car and continue to harass you while leaving.
