In my opinion this is a take and go food style place but their chicken is amazing. Their teryaki sauce is great, they just need to give you way more of it.

Just ate the amazing food for the first time. First, almost everything is gluten free so thank you for being inclusive! The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly.
I don't live in Salem, but I will definitely go out of my way to eat here again when I'm here next time.

Shaka Brah catered a recent work event for our company, and we couldn't have been more pleased. The food arrived on time, was delicious, and we had plenty to go around. Additionally, the gentleman who delivered the food, went out of his way to help us with an unrelated obstacle and helped find solutions to ensure we had a smooth party.

A little hesitant to post the review after seeing all the high reviews and the Owners comments on another low starred review from today. I had the Poke from your restaurant today and was pretty dissapointed. The tuna was a bit bland and the sauce didn't much make up for it. I'm a little disaapointed at how expensive it is to add a side like mac salad to the Poke and that it's treated differently from the different plates. I also don't know if I just didn't notice a place to grab napkins and tablewear to go, but none were included with my bag so I had to scramble to find some on order to eat. Overall I think the price was a bit high for the food I received, I got a lot more rice than fish, and it was just pretty bland. I think that, after reading other reviews the other items on the menu are probably better, but for fish I'll definitely be going to a different restauraunt. The staff wasn't super polite, but customer service sucks so I get it. The decor was okay, I like the video playing on the menu, but the Poke section could use some more explaining.

Massive disappointment. The poke is fish, rice, and soy sauce in a cup with no other toppings. The menu has "1 scoop" for $11.50 and "2 scoops" for $19. We assumed the second scoop was fish because it costs $7.50. I got one and my partner got two scoops. The second scoop is rice. We couldn't believe it and busted out the kitchen scale to confirm. Both had 10.6 ounces of fish and different amounts of rice. Also, the musubi ratio is too much rice to spam and the spam is sliced thin, so it's dry.
Edit to add: Thanks for the condescension below. Sorry I didn't take pictures of my kitchen scale showing the exact same weight of fish or the two containers side by side where there was obviously the same amount of fish and double rice in one. To be clear, $7.50 for rice is a scam and that's what we got, which justified the copy paste. Every other poke place in town does it so much better and with the delicious "foo foo". So maybe the problem is you.

Very good food for a reasonable price.
Parking: Small strip mall parking. Busy during rush hours. Shouldn't be a problem the service is fairly fast.

My new place for lunch if I can get away. Poke and musubi. Mmmm. Spicy poke is good. Wish the sauce was a tad thicker, but still is very good. People are friendly. Will definitely be there again.

Driving from Idaho to the Oregon Coast and we needed to eat. What a great spot to come eat some Island food. The Filipino mixed plate is so good and the Musubi. Highly recommend

Deleted my review, got food poisoning from the food. Meat is super greasy, and Mac salad is grainy too. I had to literally go to hospital to get fluids cause of how bad the food made me sick. Stop deleting your reviews!
