I hear reviewing is bad for you but I thought I’d say a few words regardless. Had their short rib, Korean beef plate with Mac salad. The short ribs were tender and delicious. The Korean beef was this cut and juicy. The Mac salad was peppery and fresh. Would recommend.

Got the ahi poke and it was delicious.Parking: Parking in front of business.
As a family we tried teriyaki chicken, shoyu chicken, kalua pig, rice, macaroni salad and pineapple coleslaw. Every single item was a hit! Not to mention their great prices and friendly customer service! This place is a winner!

Customer service was spot on the guy behind the counter was so nice. The location off commercial was super cute inside clean etc.. but the food was really disappointing, had the Korean beef there was no flavor at all it was like a boring pot roast . Mac salad also no flavor and it was really expensive for two flavorless meals 47.00 yikes ….

I only had the kalua pig and cabbage plate so far and it was REAL good. They do it right with the cabbage! That’s always how I had it growing up in Hawaii. The rice is perfect and the mac salad was good too. I’ll work my way through menu. Nice service and got Hawaiian Sun drinks and spam musubi too!

We went to the location on Commercial after seeing someone post about it on social media. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly, however the food... three words: crock pot chicken. The portion size was huge for a standard plate, but it was very dry and lacked seasoning. When we asked for salt, we were told there was none. The sauce was very watery but flavorful, although the container it came in was too small and extra sauce cost more. I chose the macaroni salad as my side and unfortunately it was also very bland. When we asked what was in the pineapple coleslaw, the cashier told us she didn't know, so that was odd. I assumed that she would ask the kitchen, my mistake. It was not a bang for our buck. Even with the emergency salt from the car, there was no saving grace.
I got my order thru Grubhub, so am rating the food alone. Huge portions. I tried the teriyaki chicken and pineapple beef combo with Mac salad and pineapple Cole slaw. The beef is melt-in-your-mouth tender. I felt like the macaroni salad needed to be zhuzhed, and I expected the cole slaw to have a more pineapple taste (you wouldn't know it was an ingredient). I love poke, but the spicy version was so hot, I could only take one bite. Luckily, it wasn't mine. But my nose ran for quite some time after the single bite. Not edible in my book.It was all OK. Not bad, not good. If you love huge portions, the combos fit the bill. I prefer quality over quantity though.

This place broke da mouth! Food was bomb. Reminds me of being in
This used to be my favorite when they were still a food cart. I only really ate the Teri beef plates, but now that they are expanding they are unable to make the Teri beef the same way, and it was not very good unfortunately ? also, the rice in the spam Musubi had many hard uncooked parts. Happy for them that they are expanding and getting bigger, but I don’t think I’m going to continue coming. The workers are always very nice though.

Talk about a hidden gem. Shaka Brah was the best accidental find I've had in years. The interior is great vibes, the service was spot on, the prices were unmatched, and the food... was soooooo good and in mighty portions. Don't pass this place up!
