Uh. This food is cheap and bad. Tasteless low quality garbage. Anyone giving higher stars is just using a ton of their cheap sauces to cover the low quality and taste of their food. From sides to meats it's all garbage. Worth a third of the price at most. I look forward to their closing.

The food is pretty good, but the price point is a little too high. They charge fancy sit-down restaurant prices but have a to-go box atmosphere. 14 or 15 bucks for a plate with some rice macaroni and then pork on top and not like a ton of pork because the pork is cut with cabbage. I'm not sure how they expect to compete against other restaurants near them with Firehouse subs, Panda Express Chipotle and other fast food restaurants that have a price point of about $10 per meal instead of 14 to 15 bucks. I suspect they would do more business if they lowered their price point by about 25%. The food was mid but I would come back if it wasn't so expensive. I will not be going back at these price points

Kahlua pork is excellent; not fatty. Coleslaw is good too. Large portion sizes and quick service.

Perhaps my perspective is influenced by my familiarity with Hawaiian Time, but I found the cuisine here to be exceptionally flavorful and reasonably priced. For my son, fiancé, and me, our total bill typically ranges from $30 to $40, depending on our selections and any additional items we may order. The quality of the food is outstanding, and the portions are generous. As for customer service, we consistently encounter the same young lady, who is always courteous and helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend giving this establishment a try!

The food seemed pre-prepared/cooked ahead of time and lacked flavor. We really looked forward to a good authentic plate lunch, but unfortunately, this wasn't like what we've had on the islands.

Massive disappointment. The poke is fish, rice, and soy sauce in a cup with no other toppings. The menu has "1 scoop" for $11.50 and "2 scoops" for $19. We assumed the second scoop was fish because it costs $7.50. I got one and my partner got two scoops. The second scoop is rice. We couldn't believe it and busted out the kitchen scale to confirm. Both had 10.6 ounces of fish and different amounts of rice. Also, the musubi ratio is too much rice to spam and the spam is sliced thin, so it's dry.

Very clean seating area, great decor- wish there was a table outside. Portions, textures, and flavors are right off the island- I agree the Mac salad needs some added flavor but we will def be back! Glad to see they have a store front- support local, y’all!??

Food could use a little more flavor. Spam Musubi definitely needs more teriyaki on spam when cooking. A little pricey, but overall, it hits the spot. I lived on the Big Island for several years before moving to Maui for several more. I really miss a good Loco Moco, too. Guess I have to head to Corvallis for that.

Huge portions! I had a mixed plate of Shoyu Chicken and Korean BBQ Beef w/Mac salad and Pineapple Coleslaw. Also had to try the Spam Musubi as I love me some Musubi. The plate lunch was delicious, but the Musubi wasn’t as good. Tasted like it had be sitting awhile. The prices seemed a tad high, but the with the portion size it made since.Other than a little sticker shock and disappointment with the freshness of the Musubi, I was very pleased. And very full…
